Ready Check: Guide to Naxxramas (Thaddius) {WoW}

Jan 23rd 2009 11:28AM The biggest problem we had on Heroic (this is not really a big issue on regular) was the enrage timer -- caused by people not stacking buffs tightly enough. The encounter is geared so that is is VERY difficult to accomplish withint the enrage timer unless everyone stacks so theat the buff multiplier is very high.

Of course, once everyone pulled their heads out of their posteriors, the encounter was easy.

Ready Check: Guide to Naxxramas (Gluth) {WoW}

Jan 21st 2009 5:42PM lol -- I leared that lesson long ago on Prince in Kara. Nothing like having a dead SP over and over & not realizing why until . . . doh!

Ask WoW Insider: The ninja debuff {WoW}

Nov 25th 2008 11:14AM Personally, I think that people that "tag" mobs that have already been dot-ed (before th first tick) are selfish children (or assholes if they are a bit older). I have a mage, and I never deliberately do it -- if I do it by accident, I apologize and try to make it up.

Similarly, node ninjas are also scum of the earth. If I am mining a node, it takes a truly self-important, "it's all about me" person to try to mine it or to bring mobs over and vanish.

I ahve had these things happen to me many times, and every single person that does it deliberately is reported. I also let my guild know about it, since a person that will do that will also ninja loot in a group and does not deserve to be in my guild or any group or raid.

Wrath 101: Alliance flight paths in Howling Fjord, Borean Tundra, and Dragonblight {WoW}

Nov 12th 2008 5:10PM The easiest flight path is Valiance to Unu'pe to Kamagua to Westguard to Valgard. THat keeps you furthest south and does not requre very much running inland to get to flight points.

Wrath 101: Alliance flight paths in Howling Fjord, Borean Tundra, and Dragonblight {WoW}

Nov 12th 2008 5:04PM I don't think your "necessary" flight point list for flying from Borean Tundra to Howling Fjord is correct. I was able to make the trip without having Star's Rest. In fact, I'm pretty sure that you can get there with just the two main ones on each end and all of the ones on teh "turtle" path. At least, that is how I got there with my warrior in Beta.

Earn 5 fishing achievements today {WoW}

Oct 17th 2008 2:37PM Can anyone explain the easiest way to get to the Orgrimmar waterfall? It seems a bit dicey getting there solo with a non-stealthy class. (and its a long run from the G-Y!)

Preparing your Mage for patch 3.0.2, part 2 {WoW}

Oct 14th 2008 3:46PM Can anyone confirm whether they removed "ghost hit" for frost mages? If they did, I'll have to re-think my gearing choices for my mage.

Arcane Brilliance: On Deep Freeze {WoW}

Oct 6th 2008 11:20AM After you posted that deep freeze was not going to include a damage component, I started playing my mage again on the beta. In an effort to see the effects of the deep freeze nerf, I endeavored to use it as often as possible (liberal use of frost nova, etc.).

I have to disagree that the damage component has been removed. Most of the time it does not do damage, but some times it still does. I have seen this on multiple occasions.

It is dramatically less than before (that damage component was soooo nice when it hit), but I am convinced, based on my own observation, that it still happens sometimes.

Sep 12th 2008 3:04PM Though their love was pure, somehow, deep inside they knew -- it would never work . . .

Ask a Beta Tester: World Explorin' {WoW}

Sep 12th 2008 2:46PM Apparently you do not actually have to "explore" each and every portion of an area that you can theoretically "discover" to get the achievment. Last night I suddenly got the achievment for exploring Grizzly Hills -- not 2 minutes later I "discovered" an outpost of some sort. Apparently the discoveries include al those that you need to fill your map, but not soem of the little ones.
