Feb 4th 2010 11:31AM They exploited, they got banned, insert comments of QQ and boohoo here tbh, didn't this happen when they complained about the guild who downed Yogg-Saron with Zero watchers after it was claimed to be impossible from a mathematical standpoint? They glitched, they got banned for 3 days etc etc.
As for Muqq, lol, get over yourself, if you think the majority of an 11 million + player base gives a damn about your opinion wait until wow ends and you enter the big bad real world, oh noes!
Enjoy the next 3 days, get some sunshine, some fresh air in your lungs, i'll be indoors raiding with my guild. GG!
Jan 7th 2010 6:20PM Epileptic monkeys on crack or not, this article is hilarious, pure and utter win and a joy to read... and i don't even play a druid anymore!
Mines been sitting neglected on another realm at level 71 for a while now. Ho hum.
Nov 18th 2009 5:35PM Genius.
I like the way Kologarn appeared out of nowhere. SUP.
Nov 17th 2009 9:54AM I want to rant i really do, but im getting to the point in life where this shits just going to contnually happen, so i'll bullet/number point my opinions.
1) Its rated 18 / MA, parents your kids are your responsibility.
2) The worlds a fucked up place, violence in a game is little more than a shallow representation of the real shit that "does" happen in the real world, as much as you religious mongs want all the kiddy winks to not know about the real world, they'll find out one way or the other. We stopped listening to your bullshit a long time a go.
3) Yes the airport scene is the catalyst for later events. If you just see the violence your missing the point. Your the undercover guy, you don't have to fire a single round as already mentioned, but finally, the fact that the terrorists are casually strolling along gunning down innocent civilians until the FSB arrive is to show how callous they are. The developers don't want you supporting these guys, they're the bad guys, zomg! who'dve thunk it?!.
4) I would care more if this shit hasn't happened before, but it has, and it will again when the next "x" amazing but violent game comes out. Me personally, i'm well over the required age to play, so if all of the above cant be sorted by the people who supposely do give a shit, then ive little more to say. Yes parents, this means you giving little johnny that 18 rated copy of MW2. You fucking douche.
My apologies, my bullet pointing has turned into a rant... how ironic.
TLDR: I think it will take a hell of a lot for violent video games to be banned. Also, Religious leaders are fucking idiotic for thinking I give a shit about what they've got to say, let alone anyone else here. Godwin's law indeed.
To be completely honest, if this sort of game pisses off religious leaders, it makes me want to play the game a hell of a lot more.
Oct 28th 2009 8:18AM I rolled paladin after getting extremely bored of my mage that i played for over a year and tbh seeing these nerfs doesn't bother me. Currently im holy specced and the nerfs to SS and AM are, as others have said, minor pvp nerfs.
The only real changes these will bring to PVE are keepng us holy pala's on the ball more when keeping the tanks up. As for lay on hands, i'll admit that will suck, but i'll be surprised if that goes through.
Even in pvp if you're fighting a paladin with both bubble and LoH, if you can outlast them and survive you can bring them down, what with LoH having that massive cooldown even talented and glyphed. Failing that bring some friends, i've played both pala and rogue in pvp and find that for all the "omg nerf they're OP'd" remarks, they've still felt balanced to play as. No i dont suck at pvp either.
Just my 2 pennies.
Oct 23rd 2009 7:50AM I'm fortunate enough to be picking up both, the original AC was a cool game, stalking guards and ganking the crap outta them. I don't know why Ubisoft would worry about AC2 going up against MW2 though.
I'm of the opinion that if AC2 had multiplayer, Ubisoft would provide dedicated servers.
Aug 24th 2009 12:58PM *spoilers if you're reading this before watching the video*
RUN! *being chased*
I require aid! *still being chased*
Heal Me! *Crocolisk takes a chunk out of him*
Got a good laugh from me, very awesome machinima.
Aug 17th 2009 7:05AM For all the times people tell me "why bother playing wow, its just a game", your article blows every negative remark they make out of the water and makes me realise the reason i still play, not for the loot or to be "elite" but for the content, experiences and fun.
My condolences to you and your family, I lost my Grandfather nearly 3 years ago now to cancer. As horrible as cancer is, its comforting to know that, even though he's passed away, he doesn't have to suffer in pain any more.
Aug 15th 2009 7:19AM I don't think i have enough words or any words that can describe how awesome my childhood was thanks to Sega. What i will say is:
Sonic series, Streets of Rage series (except 3), Street Fighter 2, Paperboy, Gods, Zool, Toejam & Earl series, Golden Axe, Monaco GP, Alex Kidd, Columns, Road Rash, Desert Strike, Shinobi, Bonanza Bros and a hell of a lot more that i cant remember off the top of my head.
Sonic 3 + knuckles and collecting 14 emeralds to become hyper sonic ftw.
Aug 10th 2009 3:44AM Maybe i've missed the point but this "nerf" doesn't seem like a big deal to me.
If you're casting multiple living bombs, lets say on 3 or more targets and hot streak still procced on the ticks you wouldn't be able to cast them all anyway, one proc would overwrite the previous, let alone if one hot streak can be used multiple times thanks to the T8 4 set bonus. I'm still enjoying being able to dot everything up and then focus on individual targets and my threats already through the roof as it is.
Can understand this being a nerf due to PVP too but tbh... call me sadistic, the thought of Alterac Valley with a stalemate and loads of alli's sticking together near their graveyard with no winner on either side makes me smile, so many targets to dot, so little time.
At least it made fires rotation a bit more interesting too.
