Oct 2nd 2008 10:56PM Perhaps you should revisit the WoW history books. Locks were considered a free HK in Vanilla WoW. Blizzard swung the other way at the beginning of BC and made them OP, and has since nerfed the hell out of them.

In Wotlk the trend is continuing. The class that was the paper to our scissors, mages, can now cut the duration of all dots in half. At the same time we are still without any way to combat the rock in the equation, rogues. They gave us demonic circle to escape a stunlock yet it cannot be used while stunned.

I understand that fear is a frustrating mechanic, one that makes people hate locks, and one which makes me shake my fist on occasion as well. But all you warlock haters can take solace in the fact that due to diminishing returns, warriors berserking in any stance, and everyone and their mother getting fear immunity or a way to break it, will mean that the class most vulnerable to fear will be the one that casts it.
