Mar 28th 2012 7:15AM "We all know it's a fact that Harrison Jones and Hemet Nesingwary are the two greatest characters in World of Warcraft"

Erm a green skinned mary sue wants a word with you mate! He says your overlooking quite a few toons with some Character and Lore behind them, rather than one dimensional quest hub guys with little actual character.

Mar 27th 2012 7:11AM "I see dead panda's" hehe

And as for the 'bouncy' now i see the pandas as fledgling chick, leaping from a high 'nest' and just bouncing when they hit the floor before gathering up to flock to Ogri.

"We've already seen Garrosh's refusal to stoop to war crimes"
And we have seen him stoop to them too. Try starting a Worgan, does trying to enslave a race to work in your mines count enough? Ofc If with the whips n chains, and working ppl to death is NOT considered a crime, then I would suggest a lot of the old lore needs a lot of retconning. Garrosh's ONLY concern was that the forsaken DIDNT unleash plague at them, and that was not from a moral point of view, but the fact he wanted more slaves. Ofc it also labeled him as being rather stupid - you DONT send slyvanus off to war and expect her to NOT unleash plague at every turn.

Mar 15th 2012 9:18AM As a slight aside,
You know how they all say 'You no take candle'?
Well in memory of how bloody awkward they were, I destroyed a few - until I got it. There is a candle that drops off them now with the flavour text of 'You took it', or similar, which is now one of the items in my bank (for memories)

Mar 15th 2012 9:07AM Ok a quick check list to follow
1) have you already got a account with them that has been inactive for a while?
2) Does the link have the same web address when hovered over - or is it a different one - slightly mis spelt etc?
3) did you find the mail in your junk filter

If any of these questions are answered by 'No' Then its DEFINATELY a phishing mail
However the converse is NOT true (ie it still can be a dodgy email).
Best advice is above - use google, go directly to the genuine site, log in, check for messages etc you can access there. If there is no mention of the 'special offer' its probably fake.

I get these types of mails all the time tbh. Ones for runescape, SW:TOR, Wow and more. I find it rather amusing mostly, cos I DO NOT have my game account(s) on the same email address I use for emails, signing up etc.

Mar 14th 2012 7:52AM I do not believe the current theory (that its to make sure balanced articles are written). In fact i believe that something literally dreamt up. I think the real reason is a lot more cynical. Its all to do with publicity.
A press launch is one thing. But a press release with a NDA for a week? I think its literally the 'dramatic' pause, and Blizz are manufacturing it specifically to hype the news more. The current indications (from some surveys done) show the 'excitement' over a new expansion is the lowest %age wise for the entire wow life. I even have seen those questions myself from the offical Blizzard survey. If its being specifically asked about, then Im sure its something they are concerned with. Hence they decided to release some information (keep the players interested), but do it in such a way to create more awareness. The best (cheapest) way? Let the players do it themselves. Slam a strict NDA on a press release, and watch them go, for a week THEN feed them the info. By then the players have been whipped to such a frenzy, they devour the info.
Anticipation has long been used to highten events (even fairground rides were designed around the anticipation effect - to give people the best thrill they could), and in no way would i consider this a 'cheap trick' by blizz - indeed it shows cunning salesmen strategys.

Mar 12th 2012 9:58AM Personally I would expect if you talk to someone on the server you could transfer there. I would also expect you to be swamped with offers if you mentioned the server you are interested in. Tis a free pet after all.

Does WoW need more minigames? {WoW}

Mar 12th 2012 8:19AM OK Im guessing this may go past a lot of you. But for those old enough - Manic Miner - as a prof based daily mini game. With ore deposits to mine, and escape to the next screen. Awesome!
Followed up by Jet Set Willy - with a whole host of profs supported (go to kitchen to prepare food - cooking) etc etc.
