Nov 30th 2010 1:37AM The negative response isn't due to some kind of "anti-corporationism," it's mostly due to the way GameStop and similar retailers conduct their business regarding selling used video games. When you purchase a video game, music album, movie, book, or whatever, you're not purchasing the piece of plastic or paper it's printed on- you're paying for the thousands (or tens of thousands) of man-hours and dollars put in to make the product what it is. It's up to you do determine whether that IP (intellectual property) is worth the price the seller puts on the label.
Resellers like GameStop take advantage of the video game market by selling these products that have been "used" to new buyers who have yet to experience the IP. In the case of GameStop, "Used" = "package opened, inserted in disc tray by previous owner."
Really though, "used" in the sense of video games, movies, books, music, and most entertainment is described as content in which the player/viewer has already experienced. Most others would agree that buying a "used" video-game, or any other IP for that matter, from a second-hand retailer like GameStop is NOT comparable (as they would have you think) to buying something like a used sofa off of Craigslist.

Nov 24th 2010 10:43AM I think the title for this article is probably the best I've seen on WoWInsider, it's too bad nobody else seems to get it...
Apr 8th 2010 8:59PM On the subject of the whole "UI 'In The Zone' changes", I don't think it'll be a vehicle bar or anything. I'm thinking more along the lines of my bars start shaking a little, almost as if they're humming with power. They could implement a very subtle effect to the screen (think of the effect from the trailing flames in Blood Queen but not as...obtrusive) that adds to the whole "I'm super-focused being a badass" vibe.
