Mar 16th 2009 7:55PM God, I'm so sick of hearing about this. I have a chunk of my backpack wasted on poisons. Deadly, instant, mind-numbing, crippling, anesthetic, wound... next am I going to see 100 whining threads about making poisons just a button to pick them from a list? While that would be nice, it's not going to happen. People will say we already save space carrying poison mats. No one carried mats. You'd go to the vendor, but the mats, brew the poison and leave. Stacking soulshards are good. Gigantic freaking ammo bags and stacks of 1000 are good. Can't anyone say thanks blizz and just be happy?
Feb 24th 2009 7:31AM Sorry... that was WAY longer than planned.
Feb 24th 2009 7:30AM Oh quit whining. I know people who respec 2 or 3 times a day. 1000 gold is like a weeks worth of respecs. The other night we had a guy respec 3 time in mid-raid. He went from heal to DPS (50g) to heal again (50g) and back to DPS at the end (50g). We had a few people that had to come and go and things like that.
These guys will gladly spend it to be done with it once and for all. You people who are level 80 and complain about making gold... how do you ever raid? Are you getting consumables donated? And if you don't raid, you shouldn't need dual-specs anyway. If you are one who your guild constantly asks to respec, maybe they will split that with you since it's a one time cost.
It's the same with people who "save-up" for months to get epic flying. You can farm that up in a few days. Don't tell me you can't because I did it. I was a LW/Skinner. I dropped skinning and picked up mining. Leveled that in a day. You can smelt most of it these days. Farmed for like 2-3 days and made the money I needed and dropped mining and releveled skinning. No biggie. I later dropped LW/Skinning again and went herb/alch, so I'm not afraid to relevel gatherings. It's a pain for the 2 days it takes, but it's worth it. Some people farm for it in a day.
5000 gold isn't a lot. And if you roll a DK, or anything else and whine about buying flying and epic flying at 70... DON'T. Simple. You buy the mount at 70 and park it anyway. You can't touch it again till 77. So... wait till you hit 77. Most people are hitting Northrend at 68 anyway now, and you can't fly anyway so save the money slower. No need to stress yourself out over it.
Gosh, some of you guys whine so much. If you can't make 1000g in this game, you should just stick with one spec. I keep a few thousand gold. Not a ton. I know people with max gold allowable in game. I don't need all that. I have what I need, epic flying, cold weather, I make my own food and pots, etc... so I have what I need. I don't mind dropping several hundred on an orb of deception or a drake pet, or buying things for someone that needs it. What else are we going to do with it? You can't take it with you and you can't pay the bills with it, so... have fun.
Just quit whining. It's too early in the morning. Besides, the price might go down before it goes live anyway.
Feb 17th 2009 11:09AM Well, damnit, it was first when I typed it... :-)
Feb 17th 2009 11:09AM Cute idea. It's nice when the spouse does something that involves your interests like this, and doesn't nag about you playing wow. I'm the wow fan in my house.
And I'd be lacking in my first poster duties if I didn't say FIRST just because... lol.
Nov 11th 2008 11:39AM Why do I have to pay a tax to raid? I have to pay for my own repair bills, my own well-feds, I get a discount on flasks, but being an alchemist, I make my own anyway...
Why do I have to pay a tax for anything? I'd go unguilded before I give even more money up to one person just to have a name over my head. I have a great GL, but I'm not going to pay to be in a guild. When I have to pay a chunk of my own money to raid for the normal expenses, they have no right to expect more. As it is, most of the things looted go to the guild bank anyway. I raid, but can't loot a mark of the illidari to say money on my next flask. I have to buy the mark from the bank. Yeah right, I'm not paying a tax.
When they open the guild bank for repair fees, and give out flasks and mats, fine... but since I have to buy... no way.
Oct 15th 2008 12:38PM See, now had they said "They rolled 3/4 TK in one night, AS WELL AS Lurker and Tidewalker guild-first kills." then maybe... but I think someone just messed up... maybe they were so boggled at the thought of dropping VR, Solarian, ALAR they didn't realize they weren't in TK anymore for Tide and Lurker. Guess they skipped Hydross.
Oct 15th 2008 9:47AM Am I the only one that see something wrong with the below post?? Our guild on Whisperwind has also done 3/4 of TK many times, however.... Lurker and Tidewalker... last I checked... still reside in SSC. NOT TK.
"Shoguns of Kalimdor on Whisperwind rolled 3/4 TK in one night, including Lurker and Tidewalke guild-first kills. They've got momentum and hope to do well at level 80 endgame also -- recruiting Mages, Resto Druids, and Enhancement Shaman."
Apr 25th 2008 12:18PM So basically... hepatitis and being the most over-ridden bicycle is
sexy?? Isn't pam anderson 15 years past her prime?? Angelina?
overrated. Some of those European chicks are hags. That smirnoff
girl, and others like her. Cameron Diaz? Woof. And how the HELL
did Tara Reid make it? Aren't the pictures of her surgery ruined
boob and stomach enough to make any guy gag?? Comeon. I can find
sexier than this at the grocery store.
