Feb 7th 2011 2:21PM From now on all healer articles will be canceled, because healers are part of the corporate greed system that keep you getting injured and need healing. Whenever you get injured there is a healer standing right behind you, coincidence? Why aren't they preventing you from getting injured in the first place? They even demand their "fair share" of loot.
Buffs also are suspect and evil, because ever notice once you get buffed then go fighting, you immediately get poisoned or diseased? So buffs obviously cause disease.
Those will be the main changes.
Feb 4th 2011 12:36PM His anger is understandable, but whining behind his back is unacceptable. This could have been handled directly, or handled via a guild officer just between the 3 of them.
Most of them time, especially in new guilds, people will ask "this is for your personal use, right?" before crafting for free, especially doing a lot of crafting. One guild leader would even write down the names and craft in order, so he could give crit results to the proper person, that way there'd be no chance of impropriety. So I wonder what the scriber did with the other cards. If he sold them, he has little cause to complain.
Jan 31st 2011 11:22AM I am hoping eventually we fight the Titans. After we finally defeat all the Old Gods, and then Sargeras, in the very last WoW expansion the other titans will get together and decide to "reward" us by "decursing" us of our Curse of Flesh. We won't like that and decide to destroy them.
Jan 20th 2011 11:36AM Lucid Dreaming. When you first wake up is the prime time for many hallucinations. Carl Sagan wrote about them in The Demon Haunted World, and thought they were much more common than we thought, (from reading witch trial records where often the "supernatural sighting" was always when you first wake up) and it's time to admit many of us have auditory ones, fewer have visual ones, and they don't make you crazy, they're not like schizophrenia for which hallucinations can be a symptom. We're talking a few seconds when you wake up. If we could remove the stigma and analyze the phenomenon, we'd understand it more and people might be less likely to get bilked by con men.
Jan 11th 2011 9:33AM Funny we've had online tournament systems long before 2000, their patent was only filed in 01 or so. Every online game that tracked people's stats against each other, or even online fantasy football. So this is just a joke by some lawyer trying to get rich off someone else's work.
Just like Unisys tried to sue everyone over hyperlinks, even though hyperlinks have been used for decades, and were commonly talked about in academic circles back in the 50s. But someone had a patent in the early 90s for linking and thought "hey i will own the internet"
As for patents and innovation: you have never before in history been able to patent extremely vague ideas. It's a failure of the patent office to say "sorry there is prior art on this" It's not going to kill innovation by only allowing people to patent actual inventions. You don't necessarily have to build it.
Allowing patents on vague ideas actually stifles innovation.
Jan 11th 2011 8:32AM Know Your Lore: Azshara and the Blue Dragonflight was my favorite article. Since I no longer have time to raid, I'm really enjoying the quests and lore behind the changes to WoW. Plus, I kind of feel sorry for the blues, being almost wiped out and all. Malygos? Not so much.
Jan 10th 2011 10:09AM There are no cool canine minipets, and I am not crazy about the canine hunter pets either, never liked the look of worgs, and the wolves didn't look anything like my dog.
We need canine minipets!
Jan 10th 2011 9:37AM If they believed "gear doesn't matter" he would be happy to give it up.
Jan 10th 2011 9:34AM yes! we need bear flank recipes on another vendor, that was the only thing that got me any skill. or more recipes somewhere, but they can add bear flank to another vendor easily via hotfix, easier than making a new recipe.
Jan 10th 2011 9:32AM thanks, secret of kells added to queue!
