May 10th 2009 9:11AM Yeah, what Riondi said, damn Yanks :P
May 4th 2009 11:19PM I like the direction that Blood Pact has taken since Nick has taken over. There's a ton of sources that break down the fundamentals of the game so it's nice to get back to someone who just relates his experiences and feeling about the class.
I'd actually like to see some more articles aimed at levelling 'locks, if nothing else for the feeling of nostalgia.
Apr 28th 2009 4:19PM To make your choice of Destro glyph easier, remember that Immolate's Glyph will also boost Conflagrate.
The third one isn't so obvious. Whilst the theory-crafting recommends life-tap I'm quite happy with glyphed Incinerate as it pushes me over the edge so all my nukes can crit 10k, happy days.
Mar 17th 2009 2:51AM General consensus with corruption is it will be a DPS increase if you can fit it in to the rotation, if you're not comfortable with the extra timer it's no great loss to leave it out.
For best results it should only be applied when Molten Core isn't up (I haven't tested this but heard it from a reliable source).
Mar 9th 2009 2:24PM Really nice article, can't wait to see what you make of Destruction.
Mar 7th 2009 7:02PM As a fairly uninformed warlock I have to agree with Reihart, mages need a better looking (or at least bigger) Fireball.
Warlocks' Incinerate spell looks awesome, especially the way it has to travel up and down if you and/or your target are airborne.
Chaos Bolt is pretty and evil.
Your Fireball looks like my imp's Firebolt, but doesn't fire as quickly and is actually less impressive. Fireball needs to be bigger, with a long tail and more sparkly bits.
Mar 7th 2009 11:42AM Wow, I'm surprised this has become an issue.
I've always considered disenchanting in dungeons to be a courtesy. The disenchanter doesn't lose anything but can help a fellow player by simply clicking a few buttons.
If a person with the enchanting skill doesnt't want to help like that they can simply keep stum about it, greed the blues like everyone else and disenchant them later.
All the disenchanters I have grouped with automatically offered to do so when the first blue dropped with none of this drama (though one did seem a little annoyed about a request to shard all the greens that dropped too, and politely suggested the person asking sorted it themselves after the run, which was fair).
Feb 24th 2009 9:54PM Too many glyphs, as a destro 'lock I now want;
It's nice to look at some glyphs and try to choose the best rather than the worst for a change.
Feb 19th 2009 2:36PM I wonder if Thottbot will get on board and sue them both for stealing its ideas?
The best part about this law-suit is it made me have a look at curse's database and I like it so much I daresay I won't go back to Wowhead.
Feb 19th 2009 11:00AM To an earlier poster...
Yes Voltron had a princess (she wore pink and piloted the blue lion) but she replaced a guy who wore black (he died or something, I haven't seen the show for 24 years so forgive my haziness).
For reasons I could never fathom voltron, whilst having the typical setup of a lot of 80s cartoons (leader, rebellious guy, fat guy, midget and girl) couldn't coordinate colours.
The guy in red piloted the black lion
The guy in black piloted the blue lion, was replaced by the girl in pink
The guy in blue piloted the red lion
The guys in green and yellow (midget and fatty respectively) had the correct colours for their lions.
Like I said it has been a long time since i saw the show but I was so stoked when I Ulduar would feature a part of V0-L7R-0N.
Here's hoping we get 4 more raids before Icecrown to collect the rest of the parts so we an bust in on Arthas with our own indestructible robot...
"Form blazing sword!"
