Jan 24th 2009 6:16PM Well..I think quite a few mages will remain FFB and unless there is a huge swift in mage builds overnight quite a few if not the majority will remain. Think the point is only fair to cater to them.
And what about Frost PvP? Definetely a good portion of mages is not being catered to, and that was the point I was trying to make.
Also, unrelated to that. I'm definetely not a theorycraft expert, but I know a heavy Arcane build *a 40/21* in TBC was one of the best DPS specs up to a certain gear point. I can imagine if they improved the main Arcane spells Arcane could provide a good dps boost.
Jan 24th 2009 5:23PM What..another Arcane Brilliance about Arcane mages..why am I not suprised? >_>
I'm afraid this last couple of weeks you've been taking the Arcane bit a bit too serious. Either get extra writers for other specs or try something different.
I think it's weird we have a writer for a dps class that seems to have spend one post about the the currently number 1 dps spec namely FFB and then also says never to spec as one. Wouldn't your journalistic nature make you obligated to try one to keep us informed?
Jan 10th 2009 9:41PM I was wondering if you mention a lot of heroic adwards you might not aswell mention the badge awards?
The epic offhand and epic trinket are so good that you wil keep him even far into your raiding carreer.
Dec 10th 2008 2:15PM I think you're right, but it's not as much a nerf as a bug fix. The hit was never intented as far as I know.
PS @ developers: It seems you took some dps from hunters away. Since having stuff laying around is really untidy, I think it's better to drop them off at some class called mages :3
Dec 9th 2008 8:04AM Let Molten Armor scale extra crit from spirit, then watch how many mages will take spirit gear.
Dec 8th 2008 8:43AM Well, some Orcs have picked up Common somewhere between Warcraft II and Warcraft III, most well known example being Warchief Thrall himself.
Dec 2nd 2008 10:37AM Dear Gezhe,
Ever thought about just mailing those gems to me? If you have the time to write this letter, then surely you could have just stuffed a few gems in the enveloppe? Anyway, I guess you're just getting a bit lonely and just like me hanging around. If you promise me a nice epic gem I'll make some room in my schedule.
Oh, I did meet an Ethereal a few days ago. Unfortunaly I saw it fit to murder him for making friends with the wrong people. You of all people must understand that this was nothing personal, just business. I promise that if there is an Ethereal handing out free gems in Northrend I'll keep him alive.
Looking forward to your letters,
Dec 1st 2008 9:04AM A warlock can be a very righteous person, just a bit a twisted. Much as a demon hunter it would have decided to fight fire with fire. While leveling one could RP a slow corruption of the standards and ideals it once began with. It may end up with your evil warlock theme, but it can also turn out more righteous then a paladin could ever be. After all, it's not that hard being righteous with all those holy powers, but a good warlock? Now that takes character.
Nov 23rd 2008 7:28PM I think there is another reason why Arthas must do what he has to do, namely Jaina.
It's the Culling of Stratholme that seperates Jaina from Arthas. It is then that Jaina takes part of the Alliance to Kalimdore because Medvih the Prophet asks her to.
Without this split there wouldn't have been any humans in Kalimdor and the events leading up to the defeat of the Legion wouldn't have come to pass.
Nov 20th 2008 9:27AM I've seen some nice dialogues in the games, give one of those script writers the job to write the comic. Then employ your own drawing department for the art.
All blizzard crew working on comic=epic.
Plus you get to keep all the money.
Except for the guy that worked on the script for the Wrath Gate opening cinema. Except for the 2 lines from the Forsaken it was all cliche's.
