Aug 3rd 2011 11:17AM Doom?... no can't be doom yet?... aww man it is isn't it... doing poorly in Korea, development director resigned and now this... yep... DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!! :(
On a serious note I really hope they can save this one because the game looks absolutely gorgeous. Such a shame for that to go to waste.

How does using two actions to do the same that can be done with one action make healing less boring? It's not like they decide what heal to use for me, they just make using the heals more intuitive.
Aug 3rd 2011 8:16AM Has to be my holy priest in the Burning Crusade raiding days. Back then you really had to worry about mana and take well thought out healing breaks to get out of the 5-second rule and start getting some mana back. Alas healing was completely ruined in wrath and only partially salvaged in cata (no 5-second rule).
All the other games have pretty much lacked the necessary tools to efficiently heal, those being mouse over macros, click casting and a good raid grid.
Jul 8th 2011 6:43AM Looks like your standard gPotato cash shop item enchanting pay to win game. I suggest staying far away from this one unless you are very wealthy.
Oct 23rd 2010 6:34PM Fan sites can show preference to whatever they want, absolutely nothing wrong with that. But for the game developers to do so would indeed be a problem. Is there really substantial evidence that it does impact game design?
It's all about coolness and It is difficult to make the "good" side cool. While WoW isn't so much about good vs. evil as it is shades of gray, the same imagery commonly linked with good and evil is still there. The horde is red while the alliance is blue etc.
Kings and castles, humans, elves and dwarfes, hell, even the name "alliance" is common and dull. I think they are making a real effort to add coolness to the alliance with the worgen, even if personally I think the goblin is the cooler of the two :)
Oct 7th 2010 3:35PM I would think mmos to survive bad economy better than most forms of entertainment being as cheap as they are. The most likely conclusion is that WoW is indeed starting to reach its plateau and will after that begin a steady decline. It will certainly be almost impossible to accurately predict when it happens. The release of cata will have some effect but for how long is hard to say.
And what is most important is that Blizzard is unlikely to do a press release for having lost a million. So even if the decline begins today it will take years before we can be sure that it has happened.
Oct 6th 2010 5:38PM A fantastic mouse no doubt but before you buy a special edition with some pretty lights do consider that they heat up the mouse quite a bit. Luckily they can be turned off but whats the point of those special editions then?
Jul 20th 2010 10:47AM I guess I would mostly fall under the LOLRP category. I think it is absolutely hilariously ridiculous when I see people RP. But Just because I find it funny does not mean there is anything wrong with the activity and I would never go grief them for it or join an rp server at all for that matter. But since you ask, ye it does make me LOL. :)
Jul 3rd 2010 7:53PM Such a beautiful picture you paint. But how would you go about balancing all those different ways with one another in such a way that none of them is superior to the others in enough extent to make the encounter trivial for that setup or conversely impossible for the other setups? I do dare :)
Jul 3rd 2010 4:32PM Please, do tell how to properly balance an encounter where party members are not required to fill certain roles. How on earth do you make such an encounter challenging for parties that actually are willing to organize roles?
