Dec 2nd 2009 4:59PM It takes more tokens than Honor during the pre 60 gear, doing dailies give you all the honor you will ever need. The WG Quartermaster for both factions are near the Ashenvale Forest and Barren Borders. While the AB Quartermaster is in either Refuge Point or Hammerfall in Aralhi Highlands. At 51 you can usually get a great blue weapon from AV just by doing quest for your faction from the AV NPC located near Alterac Mountain. But I usually start saving my marks and honor for the 60 or 70 stuff at that point, when Honor cost are much higher requirment. You may just want to save it all until 80 if you plane you advance quickly, at that point
Dec 2nd 2009 4:38PM I used battlegrounds a good means to level charaters during BC days, after the introduction of Battleground Dailies. If you know where the AB and WSG quartermasters are (not in the main cities) you can get good gear blue gear every 10 levels starting at 18, plus be able to get upgrade to plate or mail at level 40, things do change a bit at level 60.
I had to be very patients back in BC to get the right daily, now you can get one each day. Also you do advance a little during BG so it is quicker. But you still need to do some PVE to get you weapons skill up if nothing else. I don't think BG do that still, but I might me wrong. Also having more than one charaters doing this will maximise you what you can get from BG advancing. Daily give you the most money, even though you can loot the enemy. But more than one option to get into a good PVE group help, in avoiding the bad PVP crowed. That all BattleServer have during sertain hours of the day.
Nov 29th 2009 8:26AM I still looks like Paladins are the most played class, even though the data isn't as clear as the frequently played class data that someone on WOW insider posted a number of months ago. The data then showed Paladins beginning to overtake Death Knights as the number one played class since Wraith Launch.
While I will not say that Paladins are still overpowered, they clearly got the reputation as being the most overpowered class since wraith launch, and I am a strong believer reputation as being a very strong class has a lot to with a class popularity. Paladins were clearly overpowered at one point since wraith and the number of people starting to play Paladins proved it.
Nov 17th 2009 3:18PM Battleground have long been the convent form of fun on WOW, meaning a great viable option to just get on WOW and join a BG, if you got nothing better to do or if your waiting for a group to form, there always BG. Not having to know if friends and guild mates are on at the same time to do them gives people more reason to get on themselves, which keeps the servers busy. Dailies have help reduce the need for BG, but I hope WOW never forgets the need for something easy to do for the WOW player base, its crucial for its success. Will I would love BG to lose most of its flaws, if it becomes more difficult and loses its simplicity to achieve it I think it will be a failure overall.
Nov 16th 2009 12:12AM I don't think players need player housing with respect to actually building in the world owned by the players or even guilds. But there is a few ideas blizzards could easily add to make it more realistic to role-players and fun for the not so series.
1. Renting guild halls, located in each major city and staffed by NPC of that race. Some food and wine but nothing much but a large area for guild members to hang out with for fun. Use it as a gold sink, only rentable for a couple hours at a time, with it being instanced, so more than one guild can do it at a time.
2. Inn rooms for rent, yep stupid for most of us, but a good place for teenage lovers to pretend there being bad. Rentable only for a limited number the games to party size. Like above it will be an instance with access restricted to those in the party. Unlike guild halls maybe it will last a full 24 hours, for all those that remain in the party. The room will be simple but no NPC but based on inn keepers race at the inn.
3. Finally not for the game so much but for alt lovers like me, make a place for ones players alts can get together and hangout. Have no really good idea how this would work, but it would be cool.
Nov 12th 2009 8:13AM I wish the Goblin race was a bit more like the Warhammer ones. Most of the Goblin racial seem tied to technology, which tend to irks me. I want natural racial abilities.
Nov 12th 2009 8:05AM Rogue! Fits there personality, also being small and having another escape mechanism, doesn't hurt either.
Nov 11th 2009 8:46AM I voted Worgen Druid because it one of the few classes left that I haven't yet got close to 80. Even though if they look really cool in BG, as they are, the druid shape shifting may make this less desirable. Then I would make it a rogue, and make my Goblin a shaman instead, even though I think a Goblin would make a better rogue personality wise.
Sort of wish they had a Shaman option for Worgen was in the expansion. I really don't want to role already played class again, and if blizzard allows race changing to Worgen and Goblin, I sure hope they put it off six months or so. I want to see how long it take the player base to get a fresh character to 85.
Nov 11th 2009 3:32AM I did it just last night, less than 24 hours ago, was going to put it off just one more day, but decided with the servers going down, just to do it. Lucky for me because I got home letter today than I expected, and would have missed the deadline.
Nov 10th 2009 8:27AM Don't worry, regardless how powerful your characters' feels in the world. Someone else will still be able to one shot you in a BG, to humble you a little.
