Jun 20th 2009 12:43PM The whole point of Lake Wintergrasp was to have an open zone where anyone could PvP at any time and where there was no queues or anything. I know WG had stability issues but now it's basically another BG, just with a longer wait time, different rewards, and more people. WG is slowly becoming more of a failure.
May 31st 2009 10:49PM A nice, detailed article from a guy who doesn't seem like a totally arrogant person, and it's something that's not FoTM. Sure, the 5v5 bracket isn't quite as competitive, but still, it's all warlocks can really compete in at the moment.
Fix the spacing though. Seriously, was this even proofread? There's so many spacing typos in this one.
May 11th 2009 1:14PM Because then it's not Legendary. Everyone would be running around with a mace and it wouldn't be unique at all.
They handled this right - having fragments works way better than praying RNG works in your favor. Some guilds would end up with tons of glaives, while others might never complete a set. This system is way better, yet still keeps it rare.
May 3rd 2009 2:59PM It's not that the interview is with a Death Knight....it's the fact that it's yet another interview with a Death Knight who plays with a Holy Paladin. All of the Holy Paladins who were interviewed played with DKs. Basically, this interview isn't anything that new or original. Maybe if it was a different comp, people wouldn't complain.
Mar 28th 2009 11:26PM I know the people in these interviews aren't rolling their faces across the keyboard to get high ratings, but come on, there's gotta be someone else to interview other than Holy Paladin/Death Knight players. What a surprise, he rolls with a Survival Hunter, another FoTM class. How about an interview with someone who plays a non-FoTM class?
Mar 28th 2009 7:47PM Or maybe they have problems because the game is bigger than pretty much anything out there and something will always go wrong with that many moving parts...guess you didn't read that part correctly.
Mar 13th 2009 11:28AM It seems like this was a good comeback and all that, but I just still can't get too excited about watching WoW arena matches, it just doesn't feel like that thrilling, to me at least. It feels too slow and hokey - it doesn't feel like it's some ultra competitive game. Watching guys run around for 5 minutes afterwards doesn't feel like some great chess match, it just feels like it's way too drawn out. Oh, and I wouldn't go and say this is one of the greatest comebacks in all of sports, it's a computer game, lets not get too carried away...
Jan 30th 2009 6:43PM It's funny reading through all these comments and seeing people with all these doomsday predictions about the precedent set. Wouldn't start worrying about it right now, there's always things like this that pop up and people freak out about restricting rights and then it doesn't turn out to be that big of a deal. Maybe it will, but I personally wouldn't count on it.
Anyway, glad to see Glider is going down. Botting should take a hit, although there will always be plenty of botters out there.
