Oct 28th 2009 11:59AM 1. get two boa swords
2. spec combat swords
3. watch tv with a finger on your SS button and auto-attack to 80
4. do 1000 dps in your pvp gear in a naxx pug
5. get kicked out of raids and go farm honor kills?
I imagine having some boa daggers would make sealthing around backstabbing and ambushing everything fun, but the ease and simplicity of combat makes leveling a breeze.

Would you mind pointing out where I said doing a 25 man raid is easier than a 10 man? Well you see, you can't because I never said that.
You claim to know what I'm after and that I expect to be run through everything? Shouldn't make assumptions about how I play the game when you have no clue who I am.
You say I don't care about seeing endgame content? Why would I bother reading an article about end game in the upcoming expansion if I don't care? Why would I have spent all this time leveling toons and not want progress through the story and game? This makes no sense at all.
You say I expect to down Arthas the day I turn 80? Where did you pull this from? You should call the psychic hot-line up and tell them you want your money back. Honestly you should stop making these silly assumptions and flames at me, doesn't really do anyone any good.
I don't think anyone is saying that 25 man raids aren't fun; I believe we're trying to say that for various reasons (guild size/real life/time constraints/job/friends/sleep) it's much more difficult to get 25 people geared up and all on the same page night after night for the raids. Maybe we just don't like grouping with that many people. Maybe I just enjoy playing the game with small group of friends, but I don't think this should have to stop me from doing the end-game content. Turns out blizz thinks so too.
Karazhan, a 10 man raid is the most popular raid in wow according to Blizz. Turns out not many people manage to even get to Lady Vashj, Kael'thaes, Illidian, or archimonde. So to remedy this situation they're applying what they learned about kara to the all upcoming raids in wotlk so even more people can enjoy this game and see all the end game content blizzard worked so hard on.
The majority of the players/guilds find it more enjoyable/easier to get 10 people geared and ready to go for a raid than 25.
Don't worry, we'll do our thing and you guys can go about doing your thing.
By the way, I'm not really after the loot, I just enjoy doing dungeons with smaller groups of people (ie: 5/10). You were RIGHT about one thing, my friends did already know the boss fights for outland dungeons/raids because I was busy dropping bombs on people in the euphratyes river valley for 15 months.
Guess I'm a noob because some things are more important than immediate progression into the end game content of a video game.
May 9th 2008 7:31AM Blizz really knows what they're doing! They keep making things better and better without breaking the game, and so many more people will be able to do all the end game content with EVERY raid being 10 or 25 man.
!!! Warning long post (for short version see #8's post)
Ella, Warcloud and Kumar - (and other people who think 10/25 Raids is a mistake)
The 25 man raids will have the better loot tables and more difficult bosses therefore making them "epic". Hopefully epic enough for you and your uber super awesome elite guild that deserves to see end game content more than I, and rest of the people who play the game do.
From the article, "Kaplan was very keen to stress that the 25 man setup would still be the most elite, rewarding experience out there."
Think about this please:
No one is forcing you to do the 10 man versions of these raids, you don't have to fight a "nerfed" Arthas, just do the 25 man version. You never have to even see him in his "weakened state" blizz made for us gamers that aren't worthy enough to play game.
From the article, "The 10 and 25-man progressions will not depend on each other"
I understand that you don't want to run the 10 man and the 25 man raid over and over again (you should try understanding that the people who keep the game alive financially and keep it growing deserve to see the end game content), but nowhere in this article has blizz said anything about guilds having to gear up on the 10 man version in order to do the 25 man.
Honestly what makes a raid epic? (I always thought it had something to do with the important [lore/story wise] bosses, thoroughly/creative/innovative dungeons and purple loot). Remember the Epic level 60 hunter quest? Only took one person, yet it's considered an epic quest w/ epic loot.
If 40 man raids were epic before tbc, doesn't that make BT less than epic? Haha you've been fighting a nerfed version of illidan this whole time! He should be a 40 man raid. Arthas (in all his greatness) should be a 100 man raid! Personally I think blizz is screwing you over and giving you guys the easy route only needing 25 peeps to raid. /sarcasm over.
You say blizz hasn't been generous enough to make more raids in between BT and Sunwell, well did you ever come to think that a very large portion of people who raid have yet to do BT yet, let alone Sunwell? So why should blizz slap together more 25 mans just because you and your guildies are lacking in the RL department? I hear there's many mmo's with a much higher difficulty scale than wow. Maybe you should close your accounts and find a game that's epic enough for yoU!
It's a game for everyone to play, not just you!
Sorry for the extra long post, the elitist attitude some people have has really been pushing my buttons lately.
