May 7th 2009 6:37PM If the mage is only doing 2-3k DPS then I can definitely understand asking them to change their spec. The guy should be lucky they're not asking him to leave the raiding guild if that's all he's doing and he's not willing to adjust his spec to help the raid by putting out decent numbers for a mage.

May 6th 2009 6:21PM I disagree that playing the BGs as intended will get you the achievements.

In AB it is intended that there is some defense. If you're good at that and keep stables from being taken the entire time you won't get the achievement.

It's the opposite in WSG you only get the achievement if you play defense. Running the flag, as the BG is intended for you to do, will not get you the achievement.

And of course in EOTS there are some classes that simply have no business running the flag. If my druid is ready to run the flag the warlock next to me shouldn't be touching it. Again, if you're running it as intended warlocks would never run the flag he should be defending the person with a speed buff who is running the flag.

With all that said though the achievement isn't hard to get at all. I think it took me 6 BGs 3 of those being AV.

Breakfast Topic: How's that whole child thing going? {WoW}

May 4th 2009 11:18AM I agree with outlier. If rule #1 is don't be a jerk then the one's breaking that rule are those who are there just to get the achievement.

You're supposed to try and win battlegrounds. It's very frustrating to see so many achievement jerks working to make us lose.

Feel free to do your own thing but please don't call people jerks simply because they want to play battlegrounds to win rather than just get some lame achievement.

May 2nd 2009 12:51PM I like the idea of BG requirements in achievements. If there are instance ones why not BG one's too. I love PVP so getting more people in BGs isn't bad. Especially after Blizz hosed BGs with WotLK.

But this requirement is just wrong. Fail, blizzard.

And fail players who are complaining PVPers aren't just letting them have the achievements. I can't believe there are people complaining about others not just giving them the achievement. What do they achievement means? Why would anyone just hand it to them? Especially someone from an opposing faction?

Apr 26th 2009 10:51AM Bleh. Too many people not nearly enough eggs. Just a bunch of toons standing starting at spots. It's only going to get worse as the day progresses.

Breakfast Topic: What do you want to see in the Argent Tournament? {WoW}

Apr 25th 2009 11:34AM Am I the only one finding jousting to so horribly boring? It's like farming with a prot pally. Once you figure out how to fight the NPCs it's just the same button mashing over and over for far too long of a period.

Apr 22nd 2009 12:03PM They must have fixed the Baby Spice feature on Kologarn. He was immune to it last night.

Apr 16th 2009 5:22PM I did the same thing...almost. Drood treez haz no reed skillz either.

Got to the gargoyles and realized they were far too hard to kill for a non-group quest. Read the quest. D'oh.

Hotfixes for Conflagration and Ulduar {WoW}

Apr 15th 2009 5:18PM Ugh. I finally brought my 80 Warlock out of retirement a week before 3.1 and we get yet another big nerf? If they don't like us being too bursty then why not buff something else in exchange for this nerg? Why only nerf us?

This is ridiculous.

Breakfast Topic: A feeling of dread {WoW}

Apr 9th 2009 9:31AM I'm dreading the lifebloom and mana nerfs too. Mana I can understand and support but the lifebloom nerf ticks me off. :(
