Encrypted Text: The lazy combat build, part 1 {WoW}

Mar 21st 2012 3:49PM Or, if you want to be REALLY lazy (read: don't even want to learn the class), check out http://www.wowlazymacros.com and just spam one button over and over again for pretty much any class!

The Queue: I'm on the bus {WoW}

Feb 25th 2012 12:53PM The front page of theunderminejournal.com (after you pick a realm) has several posts from lots of different gold-related blogs. Its advice from all different markets. So, after browsing for a few days (perhaps finding a few blogs in there you really like and reading more posts by them), you should be ready to get started in just about any market you want.

Feb 25th 2012 12:43PM Do you have MoveAnything or a similar addon that moves UI elements around? Sometimes MoveAnything will hiccup and put the interactive layer or text layer at a lower level than the background layer, even if its part of an object or UI element that you haven't told it to "move".

WoW Moviewatch: WoW Meets Dubstep {WoW}

Feb 3rd 2012 3:14PM "I think I'll have to research about this dubstep thing to understand it."

My first thought, as well... So I go to trusty Google and type "wtf is" and, what do you know?! "wtf is dubstep" is the first suggestion Google gives me!

The Light and How to Swing It: We should never have had a block chance mastery {WoW}

Jan 20th 2012 3:38PM You don't need it to be crit proof if you are at 102.4% avoidance, but the talent is still mandatory for the 10% DR and as a prereq for other mandatory talents.

Addon Spotlight: Addon Roulette and win a Razer Nostromo {WoW}

Oct 27th 2011 7:27PM My favorite addon that I feel not enough people use is MoveAnything. It just moves... anything!

It is particularly useful (in my opinion) for people that like to run fewer addons. For instance, I never needed all of the options in TipTac or TinyTip or w/e, I just wanted my tooltip to not be where I had decided to put my minimap. If all you really need is for something to move, just use MoveAnything.

Addon Spotlight: Mailbag 3 {WoW}

Oct 20th 2011 5:46PM Sexymap was always just a little too much for me... I was just using "Simple Square" anyways, so why did I really need a huge addon like Sexymap? Also, it seemed to get a little buggy from time to time, mostly with the hidden minimap buttons.

For something much simpler, try BasicMinimap. I can't remember if I've seen it here or in UI Spotlight, but ever since I've tried it I've never looked back.

Oh, and I personally like Grid for party/raid frames.

Addon Spotlight: Errormonster and a mailbag {WoW}

Sep 2nd 2011 3:48PM If all you want is to move the tooltip but have it look exactly the same, I would recommend MoveAnything. Mat has recommended it before for a bunch of different things, I'm surprised he didn't at least give it a mention here... Go back an article or two (the PlayerPowerBarAlt one) and you will find a brief description of MA, or just look it up on Curse.

Reader UI of the Week: A call for help from Understud {WoW}

Jul 20th 2011 10:42AM Smashbolt beat me to the punch with a more in-depth answer, to boot... =P

One addon that I use constantly to make tweaks to the size/location of Blizz's UI elements is MoveAnything. It does just what it says, lets you move anything you see on your screen. Say you moved your minimap and you don't like where the mouse-over tooltip for the current progress of your Dungeon Finder queue shows up? Just move it!
