Sep 25th 2009 12:30PM Did they fix the direbrew exploit?
Here's to hoping I have ground textures this time. :(
Sep 9th 2009 9:44AM Wow, it's almost as if they want us to keep playing and getting different stuff all the time.
Sep 1st 2009 3:47PM Yeah, sorry -- I did mean cold weather flying, not epic flying. #fail. I would argue it is comparable except for the timing -- the cold weather flying scroll came 8 months after release of WOTLK, I suppose they could wait a few months after Cat...
Sep 1st 2009 10:14AM This all seems easily fixed, just like with Epic flying. Heirlooms work 1-80. Then allow level 85 characters to buy a scroll that allows heirlooms to work 80-85. That way everyone has to level the hard way once, and then can get bonus to level more easily after...
Just like epic flying....
Aug 31st 2009 1:17PM Given how unpopulated capital cities like Exodar are, I hope they don't invest too much in new capital cities that will go relatively unused... I like their approach now of having a single hub city (shat in BC, dal in Wrath) while pushing people out to capital cities for things like AH -- but let's face it, there's not really a need for more than 1-2 (like sw/IF)
Aug 27th 2009 9:20AM I have had dozens, maybe hundreds of items crafted over the years and never had a single ninja.
In fact, I can't recall the number of times I've had an item crafted where the crafter refused any kind of tip or bonus (left over mats), and in many cases the crafters go out of their way to meet me somewhere.
So I always find articles like this perplexing - is there *really* that much ninjaing and backstabbing happening?
Aug 24th 2009 1:36PM @jealouspirate -- thanks!
Aug 23rd 2009 8:30PM Sorry -- maybe a noob question, but have they confirmed paid race changes? I'm mid-way through a dranai shammy and would MUCH rather have dwarf -- if there are racial changes, I'll keep rolling, otherwise I'm just going to wait. Any confirmations?
Aug 7th 2009 11:30AM I've noticed an absence of BoE gear in the 230-250 range (ulduar stuff) -- and I think it's because there's a real economy growing for people to buy it with cash. Making it easier to get higher level gear like this, but still rewarding elite players (with BoP gear like this) is a good idea to help keep the external economy at bay.
Jun 11th 2009 1:11PM The purpose would be that I'm level 80 and never had the chance to run deadmines because I blew right through the levels for which it'd be interesting. Would be great to go back with some old timers and have it be challenging.
To be honest, I'm not sure why it's *that* much of a challenge to just create a mode where the mobs have HP and DMG scaled to level 80...
