Jan 11th 2011 2:18PM I think a lot of that may have to do with the short leveling process and the lack of a new continent to explore.
Leveling from 80-85 took only a few days for casual players and felt like (to me) far less of an achievement than 60-70 or 70-80.
The new zones are great and flying over Azeroth is awesome, but the sense of wonder at exploring a whole new continent or land is missed.
I'll be putting plenty of time into this expansion - but I'm already waiting for the next one, and hoping it will feel like a "real" expansion like BC or Wrath.

Dec 17th 2009 3:30PM We may be from the same server (Antonidas) with the 3:1 Ally to Horde ratio...
The insta-sieges are the fault of the defenders in our case. When you run out en masse to the horde spawn point at the very start, and they have 20 stacks of tenacity, you get facerolled in about 5 seconds and bingo, instant sieges.
If you have the numerical advantage, stay in the keep for as long as possible. You'll prevent them from picking up sieges longer. At least, you *would have* before this change...
Dec 15th 2009 10:29AM As DPS, the new LFG is great for that first random run. I can enter the queue, then get my cooking daily and misc. chores done in the 20 minutes it takes to have the group assembled.
After that, it's not so good. As a "casual" with 2 hours per work night to spend in game, I'm lucky to get in two runs per night becasuse of the amount of time it takes to get into a group.
Keep the new LFG - it's good. But also allow us to browse through people that are LFG like we used to be able. With the old system, you could invite 2 DPS and a healer or tank that were in LFG, hit /2 with a "need tank for XXX and g2g" and be under way in 5 mins or less.
