Sep 24th 2009 12:28PM Yes the Mature Black Dragon Sinew does still drop, I got mine on our first 10man kill. Not as an actual drop that everyone can see, much like other quest items you need to have the quest, if you have the quest you must then loot Ony to get the item. It won't drop for everyone to see like original Ony. Ii appeared to be a 100% drop rate as long as you had the quest (or maybe we just got lucky lol)
Aug 8th 2009 1:53PM Awww poor baby, did mean old blizzard take away druid only staffs and now you have competition? Deal with it. TY for rolling a druid. Pathetic.
Aug 4th 2009 8:43AM Actually this is the patch where all the raiders who worked so hard for their super 1337 gear QQ. Until they realize they can still get the best gear in game by doing the hard modes, but that doesn't mean anything because the "casuals" get to see end-game content, and as we all know only hardcore raiders should be allowed to experience such content; after all they do make up the majority of the WoW community. Oh wait....
Aug 4th 2009 8:35AM Don't let the door hit you on the way out.
Aug 3rd 2009 8:40AM "Now if I could just stop running into the wrong cities!"
I just made an Alliance character just because I have some free time and figured a level 80 on the other side may come in handy some time (also wanted a character to check out some sweet deals the Alliance AH on my server seems to have). I did something close to what you did. I am leveling in STV decided I wanted to fly somewhere, walked into Grom'gol and right clicked the flight master, I was laughing for a while while laying dead on the floor after a 1 shot :)
Apr 10th 2009 1:33PM 10man raiding isnt hardcore? Last I checked you were not considered hardcore unless you defeated 10man Sarth with 3 drakes up and no 25man with 3 drakes is way easier than 10man with 3drakes.
Feb 5th 2009 2:43PM In otherwords WAAAAAAA IM A WARRIOR AND I AM NO LONGER THE BEST TANK IN GAME WAAAAAAA NERF DRUIDS WAAAAAA. Oh and newsflash ITS NOT A TALENT. It is in fact a passive ability that all druids have, go back to the warrior forums and gtfo of the druid forums since all you care about is warriors being the best tanks around. Such a whiney little bitch.
Feb 5th 2009 2:22PM To Heilig:
"IMO, druids should have to make a choice on forms around level 40. At that point you have had enough time to decide what you want to be. Tree of Life, Moonkin form, Dire bear, and cat form should all be talents that buff you significantly when you're shifted (which druids already are) and lock you out of any other forms except travel form. You can shift into your chosen form or cheetah out, but that's it. No more going from cat to tree to bear as needed in PvP. If you want the buff that comes from being a moonkin, a tree, a cat (which would need a new dire cat form or something), or a bear, you have to forego the other forms."
This seems a bit too much, you complain about shifting into bear in PvP and shifting to travel and tree and play all those roles to its full potential. Are you mentally ill? Druids who are healers in PvP can heal exceptionally well due to not having to stand there and cast, but guess what! Dk's can take away our HoTs! Druids who heal in PvP can stun you for a short period but will not do a great amount of damage during that time since they have spell power gear and not ap, so the stun is nothing more than annoying. People who are feral and PvP have very low mana and cannot shift and heal themselves without running out of mana really fast.
As for choosing one form and only one form is completely ridiculous. Take away a druids forms and what is left? A tank who can only dodge but has a lot of health?, might as well just bring a warrior since all you can do is tank since you chose to be a bear and nothing else. If you choose to be a cat you are pretty much a sub-par rogue. If you choose to be a tree all you can do is heal and thats it? since you restrict the moonkin spells to moonkin form. Yeah druids need their forms since that is what makes them worth while in raids, being able to tank and put out some form of dps. DRUIDS NEED ALL OF THEIR FORMS end of story.
" All the other classes have to choose their role and accept the penalties that come along with it. Druids don't really have to make that choice, at least not to the same extent the other classes do."
Really? Druids dont have to worry about choosing their role? There are no consequences when druids choose a certain role? Non at all? Yeah I dont think so, druids that are spec to tank can tank well and put out sub-par dps, much like a prot warrior trying to dps. Moonkins can dps and heal a litle bit if needed but those heals are extremely weak and in no way can be counted upon if the healer die. Trees can heal, they can do dps but it would be extremely laughable. What is that I see? Druids having penalities for choosing a certain role? OMG like no wai! And yes druids take the same penalties the other classes have to do and yes to the same extent.
Overall know a little something about the class before you attempt to come up with completely idiotic ideas that will "balance" the class to your needs because you do not know how to play your class. Yes skilled players can kill druids in PvP and unskilled players will not, am i safe in assuming that you are the unskilled player who is QQing about not being able to kill them? Yeah I thought you were.
Jan 29th 2009 2:44PM "You poor bastards; the last thing they "revamped" was engineering. Kiss your PvE viability goodbye kids."
Comparing a profession to a class? Are you mentally disabled? The revamping of a profession is in no way compariable to the revamping of a class.
Jan 29th 2009 2:20PM "See, the huge downside to BM is if your pet dies, there goes almost half your DPS. Survival, if your pet dies in the middle of a boss fight... who cares? You can still top meters with the pet dead."
Well that maybe why they need to nerf ES, topping the dmg meter with your pet dead should not be possible, hunters need pets to be competetive with any spec, end of story. When your pet dies as MM or SV you lose 500-700dps (raid buffed possibly on a fight that does little to no AoE) and if you still manage to top the dmg meter with your pet dead you either a) run with fairly poor dps or b) need to be nerfed. Yeah I am going to go ahead and choose the latter.
