Aug 1st 2008 12:22PM wasn't today also supposed to be beta invite day!?
Jul 28th 2008 6:24PM A couple issues I have with the test, although it's certainly interesting.
1. Purging the lifebloom MAY not be the same, in terms of threat generation, as having it bloom naturally.
2. If the lifebloom was purged while it's target was already at full health, then of course no threat is generated for anyone.
Maybe both these issues are addressed in the video which I can't watch. :)
Jul 14th 2008 10:13AM Having grinded my warlock from 52 to 58 this weekend, i discovered some new fun in Azeroth. With the changes to argent dawn rep, it is quite possible to grind your way to exalted with them on your own. The Talisman Of Ascendance trinket you can get at exalted is quite useful all the way to 70, so it was a nice goal i stumbled upon at 52.
I spent the next 6 levels grinding undead in the fields of WPL. (affliction grinding 15 mobs at once ftw) I also bought up a bunch of the bone fragments, crypt fiend parts, dark iron scraps, etc from the AH for dirt cheap, to get enough of the insignias required to purchase this trinket at exalted. I'm now 10k rep from exalted, so i'll get it before i hit 60, then i'll go outland with a very nice trinket to match up with the Vengeance of the Illidari trinket in hellfire.
SO Azeroth can be fun at times! Just look for something new to do! my previous 2 level 70 chars never touched the plaguelands.
Jun 17th 2008 12:42PM I've always wanted some way to use a treadmill at the same time i played wow. It's an expensive proposition though, seeing as I don't actually own a treadmill now. Would have to do some desk mods and things too, but I can't see that it would be all that difficult to at least WALK while playing WoW. Running for the duration of a 4 hour BT raid may not make much sense, but walking would be perfect.
