People were leveling from 70-80 doing straight AV.
My 73 mage can now do some damage w/o 80s smackin him down.

I did this for some of my x9 toons and now cannot find any matches for them.

I have pvp characters at x9 levels which cannot play with my friends since they might level.
Thus, a checkbox to disable experience gains would be a valuable feature for me.
Apr 27th 2009 8:26AM I was curious about Noblegarden so got the quest and rode out to Goldshire only to find 100 characters standing around the building waiting for eggs to spawn. Complete waste of time imho. Maybe will try again next year. Hey, did I not say that last year?
Guess could wait til next weekend when they all have theirs. Oh wait, it will be over then, too bad...
Dec 4th 2008 9:03AM Been playing Wow for a couple years and so far to me the content seems too easy. Have two 72 pallys (holy and prot) and have finisheding Borean and Howling. Thus far have had one death, the Runed Trees who cast shadow damage on my holy pally. If had looked it up in advance would have no deaths.
Have done every quest in the areas even the group 3 quests alone and no deaths. So, looking at the map that is about half the area of Northrend.
Personally, I always enjoy a challenge and thus far have not seen any aside perhaps from the Runic trees. Playing previous two releases felt was frequently challenged throughout most all the zones. Sure, there were occasional give away quests but frequently ran into difficult to very difficult quests. Have not seen that in Lich King. Am hoping that changes at some point.
Can see why Blizzard might want to make things easier. They might feel will gain more players who won't give up since they are dying. However, there are many who also will lose interest if they are not challenged. Everyone will get the best gear and be farming the best mats. Goodbye to differentiation based on effort.

Dire Maul (the boss with the forcefield around him)
Maraudon (did parts of, don't know it at all)
OK, those I've done ranked from best to worst running
on appropriate level groups.
BRD: the best dungeon, can't beat dwarves
Gnomeregan: Very tough for an on level group, just try to reach Therma and you'll relate. The tougher the better. :)
SM: Very well designed!
Deadmines: lots of fun, nice to see reactions of those new to the game.
SFK: love it! Try and beat the last boss.
Those I don't care for:
BFD: Did solo with two level 30 pallys. Was tough but now avoid like the plague.
Uldaman: Huge, takes forever, claustrophobic!
Not much to these either
Most of the others require a lot of work. RFD makes for a nice run but nothing new once have done RFK.
ZF can be alright.
Problem with running instances now is level too quickly.
Often takes 3 or 4 attempts to complete all quests for each instance. By the time you've accomplished that now you've put on 10 levels and miss 3 or 4 other instances. A nice option would be to disable experience so can enjoy the zones and instances thoroughly.
Jul 24th 2008 11:47AM Perhaps leveling speed should be a user configurable option? Shoot, I'd select ultra-slow leveling just so I could complete as many quest lines, instances, and rep factions as humanly possible. Sure, I may not keep up with my cohorts but that's my choice right?
I'd even like to see new level zones made available. Heck, why not another Azeroth continent for levels 1-60.
Reworking zones is alright but entirely new zones to explore questwise and visually is what I enjoy.
Jul 24th 2008 8:46AM I think reducing leveling time was a bad idea personally.
I like to do pvp at each x9 level as my characters progress sometimes for months at each x9 level. Now the characters are leveling so fast is very difficult to gear up from dungeons et al adequately. Have to go to AH and tend to see a lot higher prices for items these days. Either lots r using auctioneer, which should be banned, or most are having to buy nice gear now for their characters since are leveling too fast. Either way, AH prices seem to be up a lot more than a year ago.
All these pseudo 70s with profession skills of 100 buying up all the leather, ore, etc with the support of running their dailies. Low level characters don't have a chance anymore unless they have level 70 alts to feed them.
Final insult is when these pseudo 70s and their alts start referring to hard working players with lower level characters as noobs etc due to gear deficiencies.
