WoW, Casually: Finding forum help {WoW}

May 31st 2008 1:25PM Oh wow, Cailleach, didnt think I'd see you again.

But of course, I will stay anonymous, since I don't want to ruin my WoWinsider reputation (you know, the non-existent one).

By the way. You lose!

Ask a Lore Nerd {WoW}

May 21st 2008 12:03AM @Skoll

Basically, nothing. Other then the fact that big Killy J is a bit busy in the Sunwell Plateau. It is quite possible that he doesnt even know about Illidan's faliures. Kill'jaedan might even be getting some punishment from Sargeras (which is also impossible, coma and all) due to HIS faliures.

And now I ask you lore fans to answer an opinion-based question. I'm sure you are all familiar with Illidan and the whole Demon Hunter thing. For those of you who arent, let me explain it to you in a few lines of text. Basically a Demon Hunter is usually a Night Elf (although other races are known to have followed this path) who makes a ton of sacrifices to gain immense powers. These powers are used to combat the Burning Legion. Illidan is the most famous of the bunch (among Shadowsong, Terrorblade, and others).

Now here comes the question. Do you think what Illidan did for the Night Elves is noble or not?

My Answer: I think that making the ultimate sacrifices to try to save your race from a demonic invasion is very noble. This is why I will bad if I were to kill him.

"His pursuit of power and arcane mastery has led him to commit a number of horrific acts against his own people and the races of Azeroth, including defecting to Sargeras during the War of the Ancients and creating the second Well of Eternity."

It can be argued that all these acts were for the greater good of the Night Elves (or to get some Tyrande action?)

Corrupted Hero? Or Noble Monster? You decide!

I agree with you whole-heartedly. Of course, I smile when those botters (even the ones who bot far away) get banned, they will always have a spot in my heart

If I was a bot and I was banned, I would not QQ at all. That's just stupid. It's like saying, "WTF, I got sent to jail??? I only shot 5 people in the face and set off a bomb that killed 200 people.."

Please bot responsibly.

This "comments discussion" is open to all. Botters and normal-players alike. Of course, I do not agree with botting being justified. Blizzard made their rules, they can break them if they want. In a way they are like bank robbers. They steal money from the bank with a high risk of getting caught and being sent to jail. Of course is this case, the consequence is merely a ban, but you see the similarity.

My point is, people can voice their opinions. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Please remember that when posting things like "you guys all suck"

May 20th 2008 8:50PM A school mate of mine, and a very good friend was banned today. He does NOT bot. I play with him and am very close with him (in real life).

Blizzard is human, and they do make mistakes. Me and my friend sent an e-mail to Blizzard and I hope that they fix it.

Encrypted Text: Roleplaying as a rogue {WoW}

May 16th 2008 11:35PM I play on a PvP sever (Lethon) but I still try to RP when possible with my Night Elf Rogue.

Firefury (a nickname he gave to himself) has a very dark past, he does not talk about it (probably due to a tragic accident or maybe a fight with family members). He has a dream of great strength and will do everything in his power to gain it. His dream is to become the next great demon hunter (by de-throning Illidan "The Betrayer" Stormrage). He will slay Illidan and claim his blades. At the moment he is training under the supervision of Erion Shadewhisper (who does not know of Firefury's plans), in the deserts of Tanaris, skinning beasts and gathering herbs to make a living.

Hoping to meet other RPers on my server.
