Mar 13th 2011 3:50PM It may not be epic, but I always got a good laugh out of Blackheart the Inciter. I laughed til I cried the first time my group turned on each other and the healer and Mage were wiped out.
Nov 6th 2008 6:06PM Thinking of parking my toon on the zeppelin tower ready to head to Northrend!
Sep 5th 2008 6:03PM There are nerds, there are uber nerds...then there are these guys. Yikes.
Aug 10th 2008 3:27PM Um...wow. A lvl 70 hunter PET can now tank a 5-man elite?! I don't think I like that and there's a definite possibility that'll be nerfed.
Wonder if Warlock pets will be buffed up to that level as well...
Jul 31st 2008 11:22PM With that, they may as well have ended raiding in TBC. Why grind out 150 badges when a 5-man dungeon drop is just as good?
Jun 6th 2008 3:35AM FYI, in no way can "competency" be determined by someone's armory. You could easily have someone decked out in epics under 2 dangerous circumstances:
1. PvP welfare epics (no competency required)
2. Genuine PvE epics obtained via gearing up (not paying attention in the raid/instance and just looting)
A side note, I've definitely noticed a lot of folks that DO lack competency (with or without gear) and was thinking this might be a result of the faster leveling system. i.e. players don't learn their roles in instances since quest EXP was buffed, and they don't actually do instances. Thoughts?
May 19th 2008 7:28AM I had similar difficulty this weekend in just a Heroic Steamvaults. The tank mocked me the entire time for being under-geared. I'm a rogue in all blues and Midnight Leggings from Heroic SP (1300AP, 135+hit). Maybe I'm confused, but I thought that gear progression went: Regular -> Heroic -> Kara.
Point being, if you have to PuG something, don't complain that someone is under-geared (or openly mock them). Maybe this isn't just a badge run for them, but a genuine attempt to gear up. If they are severely under-geared and in a tank/healer position, politely tell them so and offer to invite them again once geared.
