Brewfest tip for casters: Get both spell trinkets {WoW}

Sep 30th 2008 7:19PM Timbal's effect is not on use, it's a chance on DoT tick. Thus Timbal's is better for classes that use primarily DoT's for dps, while Icon/Pipe/Essence/Hops would be better for a class that uses direct damage spells.

Sep 12th 2008 7:55PM "...the new Enrage has a 30% chance to increase your damage by up to 10% when you take any damage at all, it's no longer limited to you having taken a critical hit. This makes Enrage less sucktastic for PvP, but it's still a talent that increases your DPS in a situation no DPS warrior wants to be in, meaning that you're spending talent points for a damage boost that only comes when you've taken damage, which you're not supposed to be doing."

IMO this statement is very naive. In just about every raid encounter nowadays there is an aoe element. Not speccing into enrage when you could have a very high, if not permanent, uptime of 10% more damage isn't a good idea.

May 29th 2008 2:55AM I disagree with the Vitality > Boar's Speed. If you are doing any raid encounter that requires movement, Boar's Speed will always be better. You won't need the mp5 from Vitality once you are past Kara anyways.

Shifting Perspectives: PvP as a moving target {WoW}

May 21st 2008 5:00AM What you spec for resto largely depends on what setup you're running. With a warrior or in 3v3 when you're the only healer, the defensive 8/11/42 works best. However with a rogue or warlock, their cc allows you to spec more offensively, with 11/11/39, 13/11/37 (increased range) or 34/0/27 (restokin).
