Jan 15th 2011 5:49PM I'll wait to see how it plays out, but I have the feeling that I'll be going back to fire and respeccing my PvE frost spec to a super-controlling (You're going WHERE with WHO?) frost PvP build.
Nov 12th 2010 4:00PM Great. Time to finish the rep-grind with either Stormwind or Darnassus. I detest Elekks with a passion. Huge, ugly, chunky beasts that apparently we are forced to sit IN, not on, even though they were designed for use with the character models. Yuck.
Oct 19th 2010 6:44PM Damn. Everything I'm learning is making it harder for me to dislike Garrosh. Young and inexperienced? Definitely. Hotheaded and arrogant? Sure. Bold and honorable? Uhh, actually, it turns out, yes!
Oct 2nd 2009 11:41PM Actually, the Wrathgate always makes me think "%#&$! Alexstrasza and the dragons!"
After all that is done there, after all the hoops jumped through to please Wyrmrest, the dragons wait until it's all over then flap on over and bravely BURN THE BODIES?!
That made my main swear off helping dragons forever. Let them cater to our whims for once!
Jan 15th 2009 5:40PM Awesome.
As a muti/combat/imp. Ambush hybrid (for grinding) I tend to run towards something, stealth, ambush then mutilate once (or twice) before eviscerating it. Getting more combo points out of this means I may well only need cheap shot for emergencies and PvP.
Dec 15th 2008 3:59PM The argument was not about 35g. The argument was about the principle of keeping the tip and the mats (which, incidentally, cost far more than 35g to buy and take time to farm and smelt).
O.K. So the buyer forgot -or didn't notice- that the item was BoP when he looked at the plans to get the material list.
I can even see that the crafter might not notice either. I've done that as a leatherworker, crafted an item for a guild-mate and only realized afterwards that it was BoP. It happens.
In our case though, that usually devolves into an argument of "Oh no, I insist!" when trying to force the other one to accept materials or equal value in gold or, conversely, me being told I should keep the tip for my trouble.
Bleh. Longish post. Sorry.
Making mistakes? It happens.
Being a jerk about it? It happens too, but it's still being a jerk.
Oct 14th 2008 11:40PM If you want to play a healer, then don't specialize in Shadow. Simple enough?
For those of us that play shadow priests, this sort of change has been a long time coming. It is nice to finally be promised that we will be able to do competitive dps. I'm sad that our utility is being reduced so dramatically, but I understand it and aprove of its sacrifice for better damage!
Besides, healing for priests is fine. They're constantly getting little tweaks and Holy is a great raid healing build.
Oct 7th 2008 11:32PM I'm looking at DKs the other way around actually. I'm a shadow priest who will be playing a DK for fun.
When, and only when, my guild has content comfortably farmable I will bring my DK along, but most likely I will just 5-man and use him on the lower level content.
Oct 2nd 2008 12:11AM I played a warrior as my very first character and then made a rogue and I didn't learn about the parry mechanics for rather a long time.
An article like this serves to help new melee players get used to these concepts.
May 22nd 2008 8:33AM When someone says "goodbye" in Guild Chat and then logs out very swiftly, thus denying anyone the opportunity to reply, we yell "Krreq'd!" as that was the trademark exit of a guild member by that name!
Krreq, buddy? This is your 15 seconds of internet fame - live it up! :-)
