May 19th 2009 10:32AM Oooh, OOoh, Pick me coach, PICK MEH! I swear I'm ready!!

May 16th 2009 3:16PM Rathiel,
80 Blood Elf Death Knight
I've been in desperate search of a decent guild that isn't too hardcore about raiding, but isn't too casual either.
I've had raiding experience up to Naxx-10, I listen tot he direction given by our raid leaders and do the best job I can. I try hard to learn the ins and outs of my class and am always open to constructive advice.
I'd love to get back into raiding and dungeon running, but as a melee DPS, it's hard to find a spot. I'd also love to get into a guild that is open and friendly as well.
I'm HOPING, I don't have to pay transfer off of QD, but it's starting to look that way more and more every day. :(
Feb 6th 2009 12:56AM Blizzard continues on its trek of epic fail.
So their answer to get people to look at other specs is to straight up remove a nice percentage of DW DPS, and replace it with a talent that for DW is lackluster at best?
And by moving Garg to the 51 point, with a damage buff, is only goign to encourage more deep Unholy builds.
Dec 3rd 2008 12:15PM First off, this is one reason I really want them to get the dual-spec on the fly thing implemented, for obvious reasons.
That being said, I've noticed it's a two sided affair:
On one hand, you have rerolled Death Knights who are playing DPS either for the first time or in a continued fashion, and probably have very little experience tanking, if any at all. While I endorse the idea that during your Outland's time, you should try to get some tanking practice in with the early dungeons, I understand it's hard to do as most parties will probably be featuring 4 Deathknights at this point.
The other side is on those who are not Deathknights. Many of these folk have zero patience it seems and are unwilling to work with these up and coming tanks, often just generalizing them as poor tanks. Of course they're going to be less than seasoned, most groups have yet to give them a chance.
I am currently an Unholy spec'd DK, last night I was in a PuG for Nexus (my first time there) due to a lack of tanks. And actually I was holding my own pretty well for a newbie tanker, but on occasion when our mage got overzealous on their DPS, or our fury warrior decided to pull a group before we were ready, things went south. But they are things I'm learning. Admittedly, things would have been better had I been better spec'd or had more suitable tanking gear; but, overall, I would say it was a good experience, and it was nice to get my feet wet.
Nov 11th 2008 11:57PM it's not so much that I don't get how complex this problem is, I'm sure it's way over my head. My Problem was the utter lack of interaction with the player base during it.
We get that you need to extend deadlines in response to complex problems, but let us know. Don't say "back @ x", let the time expire and not give any notice for two hours afterwards
Jun 5th 2008 9:36PM So...the question is, is Sony even trying anymore? Seeing crap like this and the last few PSN updates make me wonder.
"Hey guys, we have this incredible hand-held device with more potential for awesomeness than Jesus with a machine gun and a band of ninjas...ehhh...let's just go down to Dave & Buster's and play some pinball..."
If the PSP goes utterly belly-up, Sony has really no-one to blame but themselves.
May 29th 2008 6:56PM gah, finally a chance to pick up Brave Story and MHF2 on the cheap, here's hoping my stores have some in stock as they do atm.
May 29th 2008 12:55AM *sigh*
I'm once again reminded of the NA PSN store being populated mostly by tumbleweeds, whereas the Japanese PSN store is this magical wonderland of festive colors and amphibious attack tigers :(
May 27th 2008 11:45PM Crazy. I have to admit, with just as much crap flooding the market as quality titles, and of course with the cost of everything going up, I really like to have the free playable demos to make a better judgement before buying something.
Kinda sucks if the demo is non-existant, since I haven't exactly been overwhelmed by videos and screenies.
May 22nd 2008 11:26PM It's really sad to see how awful the PSN store has been of late. I just keep thinking of the incredible selection of PSOne titles that could, and should, be put up for PSP download. That and the fact that demos seem so few and far between, I sometimes feel as if there's just this one guy doing the whole thing. :(
