Blood Pact: How your baby 'lock stacks up against your main {WoW}

Aug 15th 2008 10:29AM Natalie - I've been inspired, thank you.

I have a Warlock, Rogue, and Shadow Priest, all at 70 - and they're like a "Main Council" since I couldn't really pick just one.

Forum post of the day: I need that for my PvP set {WoW}

Jul 17th 2008 9:15AM Yes! This has totally happened to me... here's the story: my daughter's bf whispered me one day, wants to know can my lock help him out on a H-Sethekk Halls run. I say sure - but my rogue needs only one more badge for the back I want, can I take her through the first boss and then switch to the lock? He says sure.

Long story short - a mage named Elfcannon - Aggramar US - and I both died on the final boss. They looted while we were running back and I see that they're all passing on the epic staff. Elfcannon yells, "NOOOOO why did you loot him??" I tell him, calm down, they're passing - it will be okay.

Elfcannon gets to the boss before I do and totally GRABS THE EPIC STAFF! I say - well, I guess I didn't want to roll for that. The rest of our party starts berating him for it, and he offers the excuses that a) he claims to have "called it" before we started and b) he was the only caster when we first started the run.

My daughter's bf made sure to inform Elfcannon's GM and posted his ninja story on the forums, we all put him on ignore (except for me - I put him on my friends list on all my toons so that I can keep an eye on him, lol) and I haven't gotten the staff to drop for my lock since.

WoW blogging step 1: Find a blog host {WoW}

Jul 15th 2008 12:20PM I'm on Blogger as well - lots of nifty little addons and functionality. The nitpicky things I'm less than happy about? Not having the ability to show only post snippets, with a link below for the full post (like WoWInsider uses), for one.

Also, I'd like to have posts run down the middle, with left AND right sidebars. Blogger layouts appear to have only a right sidebar. It'd be nice to have more widgets near the top of the page.

WWI '08 Panel: Gear Resets {WoW}

Jun 30th 2008 9:26AM Oh grief... Prin was rocking those same pants for several levels, along with a baby-blue shirt, brown boots, and wolf-face head. /facepalm

Yeah, not really looking forward to the closet-cleanout of replacing epics with uncommons.

What to wear to melt faces in Karazhan, part one {WoW}

Jun 24th 2008 2:02PM I've got FSW on my lock, reading this piece is enough to make me consider keeping my JC, and dropping the mining for tailoring on my shadow priest, as well. I do have a little hunter coming up in the ranks with mining...

hmmmm....

It came from the Blog: Let's honor and desecrate fires! {WoW}

Jun 24th 2008 11:59AM I'll totally be there!

Missing teen found after she ran away with her 27 year old WoW boyfriend {WoW}

Jun 3rd 2008 10:55AM I can't help but think that this could have been avoided if there were tighter controls on teens interacting with adults in the game.

No, no, no! We can't shield our children from the world, what we as parents NEED to do is to PREPARE our children for the world. And unfortunately, that means the bad as well as the good. Teach your kids right from wrong, give them the love, attention, and LIMITS that they so desperately need, and they'll be ever so much less likely to make stupid decisions. Know your kids - know their habits, know their friends, what they like to do and where they hang out. More restrictions isn't the answer. Better parenting is.

Blood Pact: The Warlock's way ahead, part 2 {WoW}

May 30th 2008 2:49PM As much as my lock appreciates the upcoming new abilities & talents, my shadow priest weeps at having to compete for gear that used to be a "gimme." Thanks for the scoop, V.
