Nov 4th 2008 10:51AM Another most interesting piece of news for warlocks was hotfixed and did not get as much attention due to not being on the patch notes.

They have increased the coeficients of both Corruption and Immolate to 20% (from 13% and 15.6% respectively). Im no theorycrafter but yesterday I managed to reach top DPS as affliction and I suspect this had a lot to do with it!

Oct 24th 2008 10:44AM I am certainlty no expert in PVP, but I have a feeling the new PVP spec will be destro with the succubus talented for instant seduction. You'll have plenty of options to stun, fear, instant seduce, soul link, nether protection against casters and a lot of burst. This is a spec that will benefit a lot from the future Demonic Circle too.

I'm certaily inclined to give it a spin, but haven't had enough time to do it.

Ghostcrawler: Healing is next for an update {WoW}

Oct 23rd 2008 3:29PM One avenue they could (and in my humble opinion should) explore is the WAR concept where healers get bonuses on their heal spells by doing damage, and bonuses to damage spells by healing. This would promote that all healers become something of a hybrid dps/healer rather than full time healers.

Pretty sweeping change, but I'd love to see this happen.

Curse of Recklessness no longer stacks with neither Sunder Armor nor Expose Armor. No similar buffs/debuffs will stack from now on.

Fel Concentration also does not reduce the Pushback on Fear casts.

Skill Mastery: Mind Sear {WoW}

Sep 26th 2008 2:46PM Ideally in AoE pulls the DPS kill all targets at the same time. If your target does not take Mind Sear damage then it dying is not a problem because he'll be the last to go.

Only problem is someone silgle target DPSing it, but that can easily be fixed by marking the mobs as you say.

Excelent spell in my opinion, 100 times better than the Shadowflames spell locks are getting. Looking forward to using it even on my healer.

Warlock changes in Beta build 8982 {WoW}

Sep 25th 2008 4:50PM Tanking is meant as a last ditch defense, obviously, being on a 30 sec ability.

Tank died? Pop Meta, Challenging Howl and Immolate Aura and if the dps can burn the mobs down before meta fades you just might save the group from a wipe.

Sounds cool to me.

Realm first level 80 titles removed {WoW}

Sep 4th 2008 2:39PM I understand the decision to remove player 1st awards and think it was ultimately a wise move.

However they should come up with some way to give those titles to the player base in some fashion. Most of them were very cool.

I believe they will boost our DPS significantly. I mean they said the same thing about pallys, and look what happened to THEM.

I for one am pretty happy about the opportunity of rocking the DPS charts rather than being just utility.
