Sam Raimi discusses Warcraft movie {WoW}

Jun 26th 2010 2:49AM "I could be wrong here, but to me it feels like WoW is kind of at it's climax right now. "

You're pretty good at predicting these things? (Srry, couldn't resist :) )

Ontopic, I would love to see how this movie turns out. Sam Raimi is a good director who could really take the movie into the right direction. (Unlike some others I could name.................. isn't that right,Uwe Boll? :P) Giveaway: World of Warcraft Programming, 2nd Ed {WoW}

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm leaked by MMO-Champion {WoW}

Aug 15th 2009 11:29AM Night elf mages with the highborne etc could be possible. Look at the 3.2.2 PTR, go to Darnassus, what NPC you see there in the temple of the moon discussing some things about a 'big change' with the night elf leaders and saying something about the 'inevitable return of the highborne'(from the dire maul city) to night elf society? That's right , a highborne :D They have also appeared in Dalaran.

Real-life WoW-style name tags {WoW}

Jul 13th 2009 2:41AM Germany? :S The people in that video have dutch/flemmish names, and the video mentions that it took place in Gent, which is in the flemmish region of Belgium. (I know that dutch and german are hard to keep apart for non-dutch/german people, but still ..... :P )

Anyway, that name tag project was fun to watch and I hope they will do more projects like this.

The Patches of Yesteryear: Patch 0.6 {WoW}

Jul 8th 2009 2:07PM Ah beta, good times..........but nothing that has ever happened in the 0.X patches could do the same thing as patch 1.1 did :
# On death, all equipped items will lose 10% durability.
# Durability loss through fighting has been decreased (mainly to accommodate the new penalty for dying)
# The penalty for using a Spirit Healer has been changed * there is no longer the 5% experience loss, instead all items (equipped and inventory) will take 100% durability loss and the character will gain resurrection sickness for a duration that scale according to level. Players from level 1 trough 10 will not receive ressurection sickness. Ressurection sickness will be received at a duration of 1 minute at level 11 to 50 minutes on level 60.

Ressurection sickness was sick those days(50 mins!) , but the xp loss before that was even sicker (no pun intended btw)
