Feb 19th 2012 4:47PM Well actually Linux version of WoW would function very similarly to Mac version, so it wouldn't be so hard to implement it.
The game itself has an OpenGL engine, which is natively supported on Linux, though there maybe still some platform-specific things to work around. Not sure about their sound and network code, but it is at least cross platform enough to work on Mac and Windows. Sound might be the biggest issue actually.
And there is of course Launcher which would need a new native Linux implementation, but that's not much work

If you personally don't use a timer addon that shows things like that, someone has to shout them in TS/Vent. Because if you don't anticipate such things, your raid's life will be much harder.
Oh, and good luck anticipating damage spikes as a healer if you don't use any timer addons. Actually good luck doing anything as a healer with stock ui. It's possible, yes, but you are fighting with UI then, not with a boss
