Feb 19th 2010 1:40PM Ice Crystal trink from PoS I am an aflliction lock - alot of people claim it's best in slot, I have lost the roll against healers 5x when it's dropped, and even had a fellow druid tank roll on it in my run last night luckly the holy priest won it so at least the +SP trink went to a caster and not some moron rolling for an offspec
I am gonna keep farming until I get it or something better
Battered hilt - seen it drop once, the guy who won the roll had a better grade weapon whereas the four who lost at the time would have had a very nice upgrade - sod's law I guess ;o)
Sep 13th 2009 2:24PM Er is it such a grind as oh I dunno rolling a toon of your choice on a faction and lvling from 1-80?
The way I see it faction change = forgoing a major leveling inconvienance if you have a cherished toon on one faction and would like them on another surely re-doing the Argent Tournament vs. the entire game = win?

I'd love to see the off hand that dropped off the silver potrait naga in STV it was shaped like a cobra and actually appeared on your avatar out of combat like your main hand, I had it on my lock and it was cool to look like you're a duel wielder
Jan 2nd 2009 8:06AM I usually wait for someone else to break first, be polite thank the remaining group for trying and go on my way, usually I find I get invited back to another run later as being a 'good person' and more often than not the re-adjusted group gets the job done ;op

polar bear mounts ftw!
nice idea & competition!

I grinded the invasion as a lvl68 priest and had all x4 haste epics ready for lvl70 (and about every other set 10x over in greed rolls)
Provided you do the 2x quests for turning in 10x runes and killing a shadow wraith the quartermaster is open to you to get the shoulders, gloves, trinks, potions, oils and tabards.
Incidentally the robe took forever to drop for me with rested bonus I did 1.5 levels just as invasion and went from friendly to 4k into the revered rep bar! ;o)
Sep 22nd 2008 12:30PM The approach in this article remains me of Wormtongue in LOTR.
My advice have the courage of your convictions and be honest and upfront, no one likes a backstabber however my distain you have for your current GM
Jun 16th 2008 8:42AM Solution to tauren warrior leveling in Ghostlands is simple - but your hearthstone in Brill - easy to go train and port back to Silvermoon via Undercity
I have just done all the Ghostlands content on my undead lock on a new server so no daily gold to help train and gear up, and agree it is by far and away the best way to get decent lower end gear and monies.
Unlucky on the Shaman trainer
My own particular annoyance in leveling is all the players +5 levels higher than you who hang around in Brill, Loin's Pride Inn etc who repeatedly challenge for duels even if your skilling up a profession. Wouldn't it be great if they lost HP if they challenged the same player more than twice in a row? ;o)
May 28th 2008 1:45PM Don't see why it should be easier for DK or anyone else moving forward - to get a DK you need another lvl55 character so as a player you can potentially have four professions moving forward and have invested some time leveling the professions of your qualifying character.
Anyone who lvl's a character to 55 specifically for a DK main if their smart will give the first character gather professions to make money and acculmilate the mats for what the DK's professions will be

May 28th 2008 3:44AM Read a lot of rubbish on hear as to why Europe is first - number of hours worked per demographic has no baring on anything, nor does a regions culture. You cannot generalise Europe into a region, when discussing America's hours worked to England or Germany for examplee your arguement is null and void as these countries work a similar number of hours if not more to the States.
The only way you are successful in raids is teamwork and be organised, usually that means sacrfice of personal time and/or a lifestyle choice in terms of what work you choose to do.
Clearly Europian Guilds in WOW take end game raiding slightly more seriously than their American counterparts as the only way they can get their firsts is to invest more time and effort.
That is why they are first - it is not a matter of skill or given better opportunity to raid due to a demographic I know plenty of players who played beta yet haven't yet cleared SCC, by the less hours worked arguement = better opportunity we'd all be farming Black Temple by now
