BlizzCon 2009: Premonition live raid {WoW}

Aug 22nd 2009 11:38PM xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD xD HOGGER U GUIZ! HOGGER RULES ALL! xD xD xD xD IT WAS MERELY A SETBACK!

Seriously, is it just me or are other people sort of sick of the Hogger meme? It's a stupid, tired, ugly old Goldshire joke that needs to die already.

BlizzCon 2009: Q&A with Cory Stockton {WoW}

Aug 21st 2009 10:14PM You would think that the term "faction change" would make that abundantly clear.

Aug 21st 2009 9:41PM Blizzard itself has included a feature that will tell you what stats changes will occur since 3.2.

I don't know about the rest of you, but toying around with different pieces of armor and specs, seeing which works best.. it's fun. And even if I need to know which armor piece will be better for me overall, there's ample resources available on the Internet.

I just don't see how anyone who isn't a moron can appreciate these changes.

Aug 21st 2009 9:31PM Apparently you people have never heard of a "best in slot list" or RatingBuster.

Aug 21st 2009 9:24PM Hm, let me guess: this post will be downranked as well.

I find it hilarious that actually doing your best at this game, trying to succeed, working as hard as you can to make it to the top.. people consider that bad. I find it hilarious that people will act like removing three quarters of the stats in the game and removing spell ranks is a good thing, because we all know using rank 2 of a spell is hard for you casuals.

Feel free to downrank me further. Warcraft's community has always been known for its ineptitude and stupidity.

Aug 21st 2009 9:14PM But yet they're removing most of the stats from the game.

I'm really disappointed with these changes, especially since the rest of the expansion looked awesome at first.

Aug 21st 2009 9:08PM No offense, but you playing a hunter and not understanding all the stats sounds quite par for the course. Stereotypes are stereotypes for a reason.

Anyways.. if you honestly think things like Strength and Armor Penetration are hard to understand and/or "the same stat", you're an idiot. One increases your physical damage done and your shield block value, if applicable, and the other increases the amount of damage that goes through other players' armor. Same with Intellect and MP5: one increases your mana and spell critical hit chance, and the other increases how much mana you regenerate over time.

It really isn't hard to understand, people.

Aug 21st 2009 8:55PM I personally find it hard to believe you LIKE the idea of every single class needing to either stack Agility, Strength, or Intellect.

It worked in the RTS games, yes, but this is an MMO. It's different, and it SHOULD be challenging.

Oh, and your idea of "simplicity" must mean "a third grader could raid endgame instances", because that's certainly what I'm seeing here.

Aug 21st 2009 8:48PM "Dwarves have this racial called find treasure... what happened to all the treasure?"

Blizzard got lazy as fuck.

Aug 21st 2009 8:42PM Blame the casuals who think things like armor penetration and MP5 are "too hard" to understand.
