Mar 1st 2012 12:14PM Okay, I'll spot you the whole armour set thing, but as anyone who has played around with the in-game dressing room, or MogIt, or anything that allows them to dress up their character in the sets of other classes will tell you that WoW's armour system is pretty rigid no matter your race (And I'll tell you that my character looks pretty damn good in most rogue/warlock sets. Well, except for Terrorblade, but a cow in Deathbringer is AWESOME. Try it.)
But animations are not an issue. Not in the slightest. There are so many items and effects that change your race already in-game that pretty much every stock race can already do everything, even stuff in classes that they can't use.
Tauren already have the relevant rogue animations; a necessity because since vanilla gnome rogues have been able to use the Orb of Deception to become a tauren for a few minutes. You actually have to try pretty hard to transform yourself to a race that doesn't have any relevant animations for your class; Frenzyheart Brew is the easiest way to do this in-game currently, since the Wolvar have a pathetic amount of animations. Likewise with Illidan's party-wide metamorph at the end of WoE. Potions of Illusion are fun to use too, and I've had no end of fun finding out that boomkins and feral forms have no ranged weapon firing animations...
...I really have to persuade an alchemist on my server to brew me up a batch...
...but I digress. It's actually a simple matter of having tauren rogues or gnome hunters or draenei warlocks. All playable races have access to all movement animations, even if they logically have no need for them, and I think the only classes that DO have specific animations are rogues (Stealth and Kick) and Priests (Levitate, which is classed internally as hover), and there ain't a playable race in the game that can't play Priest.
Mar 1st 2012 11:48AM Gnome meat is actually delicious to most animals of Azeroth, while Goblins are... not so delicious. It's pretty hard to tame a devilsaur or worg from somewhere in their lower intestines.

Can't help but feel that the Feline Familiar is channelling Vivi in this picture.
Feb 28th 2012 3:59AM Actually, it's because all the prosecution witnesses were gnomes and therefore instantly discredited.
Them's the breaks, kid.
Feb 23rd 2012 2:09PM My word, I've been thinking about asking if an add-on like this exists and waiting for the Addon Spotlight column to arrive just so I can do so. Cheers, Mathew.
Um. Uh, now I don't have a question. Oh wait, fall-back Q time: Is there an add-on that can display the internal cooldowns of items (such as trinket and weapon procs) and talents so I can hazard a guess when they'll proc next? I've been trying to keep in my head rough guesstimates on when LnL will proc, when I'm likely to strike with my next Speaking of Rage, or when I can get my next dose of Giant Cow Syndrome from my Kiril, but it's all a bit of a mess to be honest.
The smaller and more compact the display the better, or can TellMeWhen do all this in a horribly ironic, Pabst-drinking fashion?
Feb 21st 2012 11:19AM Find PuGs that don't stand in the fire. Or Shockwaves.
Blackhorn is just one of those encounters you either get through or wipe through. Some days you have an easy day of it, others you get a group in which the healers are too tunnel-visioned on the tanks to notice that they've let too many DPS die and the only solution is to wipe over and over and over again.
Feb 20th 2012 4:19PM I think it is rarity value with regards to Baron's mount. Either that, or another notch on your mounts collected belt.
That said, everyone agrees that Anzu is perhaps the best almost-impossibly-low-chance-of-dropping mount. Been trying to farm that sucker for nearly a year now, and since I'm DPS (and unlikely ever to get a CTA bag) I'd love a chance just to spit in the RNG's eye on this one occasion.
Feb 20th 2012 2:55PM I did make that jump, but that said I *really* didn't run Wailing Caverns much.
Feb 18th 2012 5:04AM This describes both my driving abilities and my WoW career.
Of course, regarding driving I have one philosophy: Speed limits are meant to be obeyed. IN BOTH DIRECTIONS. If I can keep driving at exactly 70MPH, then everyone going faster or slower than I am is clearly in the wrong.
