Mar 28th 2012 12:11PM Well... according to Blizzard, addons are currently disabled by Blizzard itself in beta. So... while it is good advice and all, I don't have a choice whether or not to use addons. :(
Dec 22nd 2009 3:38PM Another amusing part of that area/event (though it's slightly off topic):
When Saurfang (elder) comes to carry away his dead son, his blue glowing eyes continue to blink.
Oct 4th 2009 8:16PM There will be no "bug" anymore, as there will no longer be misdirection charges that the explosive shot application tick (which does no damage) will eat.
Oct 4th 2009 8:14PM Point of No Escape was likely just a tooltip change. You didn't really state the change correctly either:
Point of No Escape now increases the critical strike chance of all of your attacks on targets affected by your Frost Trap, Freezing Trap and Freezing Arrow. (Old - "Increases the critical strike chance of all attacks")
Changed from "all" to "all of your." I haven't investigated it much myself, but I'm fairly certain it's already only the hunter's attacks. Pretty sure it's just a tooltip change to avoid confusion.
Jun 18th 2009 6:23PM How exactly is the introduction of a cooldown to Lock and Load going to give us extra procs?
Mar 14th 2009 1:47PM Some of your math seems like almost guesswork.
# High level armor: 4 dusts (avg) x 3 + 1 cosmic, divide this all by 4.
# High level weaponry: 3 cosmics + 1 dust, divided by 4.
Where in the world did you come up with this? If you go to:
you can see exactly what *Item levels* disenchant into what. The formula for, say, an itemlevel 152-200 armor would go like this:
2-5 dust (avg 3.5) 75% of the time
1-2 greater cosmic (avg 1.5) 22% of the time
1 dream shard 3% of the time.
So you take weighted averages of the 3 (say D, E, and S are the going prices for dust, essence, and shards on your server):
152-200 iLvl weapons is obviously quite similar.
Anyway, curse you for getting this out into the open. :( Not very many people on one server can do this before the competition is just too high to be worth it.
Mar 5th 2009 5:08PM While the Focused Aim talent's +hit indeed does not transfer to your pet (because it does not change the "Hit" value in your character sheet, which I imagine is what is transferred to your pet), I don't see any reason that +Hit Elixirs or Food would not transfer. They directly add to your hit rating, changing the value in your character sheet. However I have never seen the need to use said Elixirs or Foods, and never had any reason to research into the topic, so I could be wrong. It is quite easy to reach the cap, particularly as an alliance raider with draenei in the raid, just with gear and gems.
Feel free to link me an EJ thread and follow up with "LOL L2play nub" or something of the sort if I am.
Feb 23rd 2009 1:01PM The queue has been "full" for a while now. At the very least when it was at "12 days" wait time. So if it's "full" and character copies are not, and have not, been allowed for some time now, how exactly does the wait time continue to grow?
Feb 21st 2009 2:37PM The materials that Skinners, miners, and herbalists receive in instances is the same as those that they can get anywhere else in the world. At least in 95% of all cases.
The materials Enchanters get in instances would not be possible for them to get without the cooperation of the group.
Withholding the fact that you can disenchant is just greedy. Think of it this way: a BoP blue item drops. It vendors for 5g, and dream shards can get you say, 15g. If you keep secret that you can disenchant, the rest of the group only makes 5g off the drop while you make 15g. If you lost the roll anyway, why keep the fellow player in your group from gaining more money from it?
Feb 18th 2009 1:10AM Vehicles are new. Fun. A change. Aerial combat (in regards to Oculus)? Sign me up.
I can't even believe the QQ that has come up about Oculus. Oculus is a fun and, when you do achievements, challenging heroic instance. However every time I say in guild chat... anyone want to run Oculus?
No its too hard, repair bills, waaaaaaah, wiping, waaaaaah, challenges, waaaaah, stuff isn't handed to me while I steamroll through it, waaaaaah.
Sigh. Sometimes things change and people are like, holy %@&$, what do I do? Adapt, learn to play, get around the challenges that the game presents you with. Thats what the game is for.
The single complaint I have is that I never really imagined myself riding a Motorcycle in the ancient stronghold of the Titans. Other than the fact it seems a little out of place, I can't wait for the encounter.
