Aug 9th 2011 10:17AM Assuming, for the moment, that Blizzard will be applying the "Mists of Pandaria" to WoW, it would be totally plausible to say that this could be the next expansion -- not a patch -- with new areas of exploration and redevelopment of old areas. With my tinfoil hat firmly attached, here I go:
There will be no new playable races. Making all the bad guys we have fought and all the good guys we have helped into new allies just goes too far at this point.
Monks as a new hero class. Who needs leather, mail, and steel when cloth, layered turtle shells, and wood make fine armor. Experts in fist weapons, thrown weapons, and two-hand spears.
Eighteen months in dvelopment -- 'nough time to reintroduce the Burning Legion back into Outland and resurrect the Old Gods in Silithis. Fun Times Ahead!

Jul 26th 2011 10:30AM I am in agreement with those who choose the Arthas line, from Lorderon (young years and training) to Strathholme (culling) to Northrend (for the blade) to Lorderon (murder) to Ice Crown (retreat) to Wrath Gate to Ice Crown (finale).
Imagine the opening scene being the same as the "cut scene" showing Arthas and his two captains entering the throne room, pulling the blade, and giving a sharp close-up of his eyes (remember the Wrath banner) before suddenly going black before the nurder.
Technically, that is not a quest line. So, ...
My two choices for a quest line are "Darrowshire/Pamela Redpath" and "Tirion Fordring". Both occur in the Eastern Plaguelands, so they could be run concurrently or as "side quests" to a major arc.
Tirion could actually be another "major" character story -- passively and actively involved in the events transpiring from the Second War through Wrath.

Jun 26th 2011 2:14PM While I do not play on a RP realm, I would like to name/rename a group of characters that I have put to gether as a family; e.g., Twoton Smith, Aggie Smith, Jeremia Jones, Jessie Jones, etc.
I have not found any Blizz documentation that specifically states if names have to be the given name of the character. Allowing a given name and a surname would be an added benefit, especially for RP servers.
Any hope of seeing this at all?
