Aug 19th 2009 3:07AM I absolutely want Forsaken Druids. They have a lot of lore in WoW.
On the other hand, I'm really wondering how people can take all this race/class combination things seriously. Remember that Blizzard announced we would be able to change factions? And specifically pointed out that we will NOT be able to change races, and more over, if someone changes faction, then on changing the faction back again he won't be able to choose any race but his original one.
So, basically it means that all this stuff is to give people more incentive to roll/level/farm badges alts. Pure money, no lore.
Aug 16th 2009 9:37AM Remember what Blizzard said: no professions should be mandatory. The ideas in the article are mostly about "bring back leatherworking drums" in the end.
The only way Blizzard can implement any specials in professions is by giving them to every (or almost every) profession. Which will make those specials as boring as now the BOP bonuses are.
Jul 16th 2009 12:14AM The greatness of Majev is that she isn't a crazy vengeful fanatic, but a real soldier. Her vengeance had the ultimate reasons, and the ultimate goal. Now that this goal has been achieved, she doesn't much to avenge for. Unless the Blizzard make her that said crazy fanatic hating her own people :( Hope not.
Jun 26th 2009 4:21AM Somehow, talking about endgame content, everyone forgets Ulduar. My pretty casual guild has just entered Ulduar, we're at Ignis now. Seems after 3.2 there won't be any reason to run Ulduar any more, and people like me, who play this game for fun and lore, won't be able to see the greatness of Ulduar. Pity Blizzard is scraping this awesome content :(
Feb 18th 2009 8:12AM Add a Guitar Hero minigame already. WoW popularity will skyrocket through stratosphere.
And what can be more fun than defeating a boss in a concert duel in a 10/25 man raid?! Tanks could be drummers, dps guitars, healers trumpets! Now THAT would be fun!
Adding a dance boss, together with a dance studio would be an immense hit too!
Hell, "rap battles" with bosses or in PVP would attract millions of new subscribers!
Feb 10th 2009 4:02AM I read quite some "stretch our mana pool" and "watch our mana" about holy priests recently on wowinsider. Now that the 5SR is being heavily nerfed, what is the meaning of this? Does the new "mana management" mean shadowfiend/pot by cd? From what I see, holy priests are getting less and less options to actually manage their mana.
Feb 9th 2009 3:30AM Totally agree that there should be a popup before you get saved. As to the raid timers, I think there should be an option to nmanually reset multi-boss raids (Naxx) after all the bosses are down. Of course, such an option could lead to a lot of complications, but I think there's some valid idea in it.
Feb 4th 2009 2:43AM Warlock dps is fine. The point that we have to work harder for it is actually an immense buff, while others are smashing buttons we're actually having fun.
Feb 4th 2009 2:40AM Sure, as soon as the similar trade offs are removed from druid shapeshifting.
Dec 8th 2008 5:16AM About Azjol-Nerub trash... I realized the first boss was actually a boss only after the loot window popped up. Level 70 holy priest in BC crafted epics/S1 weapon, healing a level 76 pally tank in green/quested gear.
Utgarde and Nexus were AOE/spamheal runs-through with any kind of tank, including fresh level 70 dk's.
Basically, in all the 3 aforementioned dungeons I've seen only 2 bosses: Ingvar the Plunderer and Keristraza.
Everything else was trash.
