Feb 8th 2009 4:33AM In my opinion. Make raid timers affect gains only.
By this i mean for example
say a raid forms and 5 people in it have done half of the raid instance earlier during the current reset.
These people can still join. Though the first half of the bosses (that those 5 people allready have killed only grant rep, marks and other loot to the 5 people that haven't been there before.
This system would enable you to help other people through timer limited content, and also let you get that last boss with a different group if you wanted.
All att the same time you can't actually go in and farm stuff since you only get the benefits of the kills once per reset.
This would also solve problems with say a guild member went to a raid with some friends earlier the same week since he couldn't raid the day the raid with the guild was. But then it turns out he is available, then he can just join and help his guild anyways, no drama ^^
Jan 28th 2009 6:33PM Update: Meeting Stones are still broken.
Also Warlock summoning stones are half broken, you can only summon people in the same zone.. which means you can't summon people into instances any more.. *sigh*
Dec 23rd 2008 1:32PM 40-man raiding was some of the best time i had in my life.
I was blessed having a guild that wasn't full of idiots, so we did quite well and it was a bigger jobb coordinating things but it worked out better as well.
Raids weren't quite as dependant on single people, encounters could be designed to be more complex and so on.
Yes the entry level content could easily be done with 30 people, but some of the later and harder content was near impossible if you had "~10 people AFK at all times"
imo the team feeling was better as well ^^
Dec 23rd 2008 11:53AM And what it all boils down to is that Blizzard could easily just add more server power to the instance server cluster and SOLVE this problem, but I'd think they are too busy counting their money.
I mean.. a week or 2 of this is all fine and unexpected. but they are obviously doing nothing about it which sucks.

Oct 31st 2008 3:54PM The Transformers Movie was tbh pretty good, at least it beat alot of the action movies coming out of hollywood, anyways.. to my point: Transformers has what.. a huge mase of people that associate it to a part of their youth. well over 11 million people have played with transformers when they were small and i think they got a nostalgia trip from the movie.
Wow movie is not likely to do the same.
I say go make a CG movie or something by the 3d studio that does blizzards CGs association would be stronger and it wouldn't look as cheezy as i think the wow movie will.
I mean.. imagine the actors used.. what are we going to se playing some of the roles? big names? i hope to god not.
"WOW MOVIE, STARRING CHRISTIAN BALE AS ARTHAS"?
Aug 18th 2008 2:37AM The Hunter comment raises the article to a whole new level ^^
Jun 4th 2008 1:13PM Or it just means that WOTLK comes after brewfest and that the item exists. they could just do some alliance model scaling testing in wrath.
