What's your Burning Crusade launch-day plan? {WoW}

Jan 4th 2007 12:20PM Wait for Vanguard.. close wow...

Let you guys deal with the clusterfudge and play it in June

Free respecs in TBC... for rogues and druids {WoW}

Dec 29th 2006 11:34AM Only thing I hate: Is not having the option to pass on the Free Respec...

Cause you still have to pay for the new spells or talents you may unlock.

And you still end up paying out gold.

Breakfast Topic: When discrimination rears its ugly head {WoW}

Dec 29th 2006 11:25AM Most of you posters need to sit and Spin.

Seriously can you not tell "Tongue and Cheek" comments?

Take everything literal why dont you? morons.

In a "light hearted" prospective I see how he feels. He is probably on a pvp server. They have the most FACTION PRIDE than PVE does.

Im with him in fun. Screw Pallys! But I will group with the horde ones and all that...but be prepared for Paladin Jokes 24/7 and being put down =p

PvP: Tales of an AV AFK'er {WoW}

Dec 28th 2006 12:50PM Cedric part of your story brings back OLD GOOD memories of av.

I miss the old days before I moved off Daggerspine.

That server rocked for AV. Alliance and Horde I give props to there.

I recall a friend came back to dagger from PVE server..He tried out our BG...

It was funny cause he was in Awe with Daggerspine rawness. What I mean is. They didnt rush SP or high road anything.

We clashed with alliance right off the bat...we didnt want to rush win... We wanted a Braveheart styel clashing. And we did.

So what our AV's lasted hours...They were super fun. And 75% less crying then vs Now with cross realms.

It still puts a smile on my face when I think about what he said. "you daggerspine folks are weird. you dont care about winning fast. You wana beat the crap outa eachother."

lol so true. I give huge props to Daggerspine in the old days. They were pvp all the way at heart. Screw the General...beat the piss outa the enemy..summon our lords...bat riders...lets slaughter!

PvP: Tales of an AV AFK'er {WoW}

Dec 27th 2006 4:48PM I have been doing PvP before Honor. And lots of it.

AV from the start almost daily. And with all the changes in place.

I have the time and experience to speak on this matter.

Horde lose a whole lot. Not because of AFK'ers. The map layout is to blame.

SP graveyard is hard to take and keep. One side you have a Bridge that is horrid bottleneck and the towers shoot the piss out of those half way on it.

The other side is a mountainside right by the defenders spawn point and entrance to AV...they get up top and bombard fresh graveyard rezzers and charge down from the Mine side or the GY side to RECAP...

To take the aid station we have to either heavy zerg it...which is rough with all the NPC's in between...and towers shooting at you.

Alliance do not have that craptastic location of there version of SP...FW Flag is far from our entrance...the spawn for GY is distanced from our end. And can be defended well vs Stormpike craps location.

To take our Aid station (horde) takes two people..The towers dont blast at the second guy trying to cap the aid station.

I myself and another rogue have tried to Cap Aid station durring SP gy neutral cooldown....Soon as he ran off the guards..I tried to cap from the slope side.

STILL the bunkers rangers can shoot me! WTF

If blizzard wants to make this more balanced..>Get rid of that fricking bridge..and MOVE the av entrance for alliance so they dont have a strategic advantage over the SP GY.

Move one tower on horde where the flight master sits so its in range of our Aid station so two stealthers cant just simply Ninja it with ease.

That would help out way more.

Breakfast Topic: How to fix the official forums {WoW}

Dec 27th 2006 11:17AM start slamming people with 1week suspensions.

Start enforcing and that will keep most in check.

The LACK of enforcement encourages stupidity to flourish.

"You guys suck at this game" {WoW}

Dec 22nd 2006 3:52PM It's actually pretty sad. Not the Leader venting. Atleast he is being brutally honest.

What's sad is someone is putting up with the abuse for loot.

Anyone in that guild deserves every bit of crap for staying in it.

His guild sad. Why do they even play warcraft? I doubt they are having any fun.

The Burning Crusade -- hardware upgrade time? {WoW}

Dec 21st 2006 3:50PM If you have that 2gig ram sweet spot. A good high end card....You are ok in Beta.

The graphics in BC were about the same. Terrain had more depth and the zones. But that's about it. The same old cartoony graphics as usual.

If people out there already are struggling with graphics in current state...and ram is below 2 gig.

Yes getting a ram increase is a suggested in my opinion.

Im on max graphics with 7800gtx sli.... all is fine.

I have half way into the year bought the second card to run I cant really help you on the graphics a bit on the overboard power setup now.

I do know Ram was a huge issue even with the one card. When I increased ram by a Gig...everything smoothed out. No lag in Ogrimmar ever.

Breakfast Club: Gold buying is naughty {WoW}

Dec 20th 2006 12:33PM Sure sure.. I am a poor raider and pvper. So you just magically spy on my gameplay for the last 2 years.

Clementure you surely have a weak ass troll attempt.

Hate me all you want. There a lot more gold buyers than you think are out there.

your stereo type of a gold buyer is silly. Extremely silly.

Believe it or not I hold a solid job. I take home 42k a year at the moment. No I may not be rich but I have a good job.

I usually wear fleece warm pants and a tank top after work when I play. I never did like pokemon sorry. But some Mario pants would be kinda cool.

Even guys like me with good jobs...a wife, House, 3 kids can buy gold. Don't be shocked now.

Buying gold doesn't determine skill in a game. Sorry to disappoint your theory there buddy.

Cheater: I probably technically am. I cheated in getting gold. Whoo.. call the FBI and Homeland securtiy!

There is nothing you or Blizzard can do about it. Tough shit. You can attack me all day. Doesn't change the fact that I will continue to play how I want to. Buy gold. I don't care if I break the TOS. I would like to see it enforced. That's a joke.

You suffer from jealousy I think. You are too poor to afford to spend money on gold. And you have to grind your butt off for matts and junk to sell while I dont.

Here's a tissue you little baby.

Dec 20th 2006 11:36AM "It cheapens the experience"

"Why risk it,you will get baned"

Sorry but cheapening an experience is a matter of opinion
and I dont share it. I've bought gold probably atleast 6 times since launch.

Why do I care about the TOS? They cant prove I paid for it. It's saved me from grinding for gold for countless hours. Yah I'll take a pass on that.

While you goody2shoes type posters preach rules and cheapening the play.. Folks like me will continue to spend "our earned money" how we want to.

I made the paycheck. I can spend it how I want to. Deal with it.

Cry and moan about rules all day. Purchaser never gets caught. You cant prove they paid for it. So Blizzard sees 2k gold sent to me....doesn't prove anything.

Since Blizzard can't access my bank account info and transactions...there is no proof.

I don't feel bad in the slightest for buying gold. As you rant and rave about people like me. I'm still playing wow. I have my epic mounts on all my 60s. I have those rare recipes you spent weeks farming for.
And I am still enjoying wow. While you waste time farming...Ill be progressing in raids and pvp chumps.
Beat your heads on the farming tree. No thanks for me.

If anything I think you are the dumbasses, for mindlessly killing the same crap for hours on end.

Yah that sounds really fun..not
