Mar 21st 2012 2:38PM Garrosh is already extremely aggressive, they just have to make him visit Pandaria and become possessed (voluntarily or not) by the Sha of Aggression, who would happen to be the baddest of all the Sha.
Feb 16th 2012 1:40PM You don't need to get to Shattrath for "Going Down!". Just jump into the big whirlpool in Darkshore, and you get it for free and without taking damage (not good for triage, but nice on a level 10 toon). There's also a guy there with a quest and an extra achievement for alliance at least.
Dec 8th 2011 9:00PM Don't forget you can also run BGs, and turn the honor into justice, at a 3->2 rate. If you enjoy PvP it is another option you have available and you get to avoid the launch dungeons completely...
Nov 5th 2011 8:53AM Personally, I would add bronze dragon NPCs at the dark portal and on the ships to Northrend that would be part of the opening quests for TBC and WotLK content. Their dialogue would be on the lines of "You are not yet prepared to face Deathwing and his most powerful minions, but there is no place in this time where you can acquire this power. I will cast a spell on you so that when you step through the Dark Portal you will be sent to the past, to the times of the war against Illidan and the Burning Legion, so that you can acquire the experience and the artifacts of power you are destined to use." After that, whenever you are in Outland or Northrend you get a buff "Time Traveler" that says "Reliving the events of past wars".
Once/if a revamp is done of those zones, you could talk to the NPC that gave you that buff in the first place to switch between visiting the past (for leveling/doing old content) or the present (new expansion content) of the zone.
Nov 1st 2011 1:09PM Illidan is coming back as a good guy in 4.3... when you meet him in the Well of Eternity dungeon far in the past. He is dead otherwise.
Oct 25th 2011 1:51PM Am I the only one that when I saw that picture thought "Is that a GameGear with something on top"?
Oct 22nd 2011 5:50PM I don't know why people obsess with Hit Caps for the gear normalization in Challenge Mode. If you are hit capped for raid bosses, you are way over the hit cap needed for heroic dungeons.
Oct 7th 2011 2:29PM Sounds good in theory, but I have some concerns about this system:
- What happens if there's a one-tank fight? The tank that changes to DPS for that single fight will be penalized on loot for the role he has been performing all along?
- What happens with cloth spirit items? They are useless to both mages and locks, but shadow priests love them, and all are DPS. Will they be flagged as DPS/Healer items, allowing two classes that have no real use for the spirit to roll on them, or as Healer only, negating shadow priests the ability to use them?
Sep 21st 2011 10:59PM I use a nice set of Power Auras to paint up to three purple balls in my screen to go along with my shadow orbs, and the empowered shadows buff with its duration right on top of these so I can keep track of both easily, but I wouldn't mind some better official tracking.
I've found Leap of Faith to be useful very occasionally, but when you save a careless tank or healer from the squall line in Al'Akir it really feels priceless to have it.
One of my main annoyances with shadow priests has always been the looks of shadowform. I would love to have it turn only the fleshy bits visible through the armor purple, not the whole armor, and keep a purplish smoke aura around. And for the love of god, don't have it affect mounts. I always wonder why I bother collecting 5 different colors of drake if they all look exactly the same once I press the shadowform button.
May 18th 2011 2:27PM Have you tried going down the whirlpool in Darkshore? You get it as soon as you touch the ground, and a level 10-12 can get there easily for Alliance.
