Goon Squad downs Tirion Fordring {WoW}

Mar 9th 2010 6:04PM For some reason this didn't post as a reply to KJP in the thread above; that's who the message is directed to.

Goon Squad downs Tirion Fordring {WoW}

Mar 9th 2010 6:03PM Yeah, as onetrueping said, they're both groups from Something Awful. Last time I logged in (I've been neglecting EVE a touch since I got into WoW) my alliance and a group of others had actually toppled the GoonSwarm empire but no doubt they will reform to plague EVE again, just as they do WoW.

Goon Squad downs Tirion Fordring {WoW}

Mar 9th 2010 8:20AM Goon Squad aren't the foremost trolls and griefers in the MMO market; their cousins, the GoonSwarm alliance of EVE Online, takes the cake for that (if for no other reason than they can get away with more there).

The Daily Grind: Would you buy a magazine dedicated to your MMO? {Massively}

Jan 10th 2010 7:57PM I think it's worth mentioning that EVE's magazine has been running successfully for a few years now.

The challenges and rewards of espionage in EVE Online {Massively}

Nov 20th 2009 6:57PM Care to show us the depths of your ignorance and inform us exactly (and succinctly if you can manage) what this so-called real world crime is?

The interviewee legally purchases accounts. He doesn't hack them.

Major EVE Online alliance CVA disbanded: espionage or hack? {Massively}

Oct 28th 2009 8:09PM Hoping it's not a hack, but legit. ;)

New EVE Online novel "The Burning Life" is on the way {Massively}

Jun 4th 2009 5:19PM I've had the Empyrean Age book sitting around with 15 other books I ordered from Amazon a while back and Age hasn't yet made it to the front of my queue, so I can't compare the two author's writing style, but I have to say, Abraxas has good ideas and stories, but I think his style needs more time and polish before he should get into publishing novels that need to sell plenty of copies in order to justify the cost. His ability to show rather than tell and immerse the reader are not quite at the point I'd expect from a published author.

EVE Evolved: A year of EVE Evolved - 5 most popular articles, part 2 {Massively}

Apr 20th 2009 11:13PM I appreciated the Gear Up for Wormhole Exploration piece (http://www.massively.com/2009/02/09/eve-evolved-gear-up-for-wormhole-exploration/). It encouraged me to go on a long stint living in wormholes, and losing ships to Sleepers!

MMOs defy classification in Australia pt 2 {Massively}

Jan 29th 2009 7:36PM Better than game publishers applying for classification: the fascist state of Australia makes the classification system a voluntary one, as other countries have done.

Australia, like its forebear the UK, has gone too far with censorship, restrictive classifications and is now heading for internet filtering, too. The idea of Western democracy is a farce.

BeatMaker: sample studio for your iPhone or iPod Touch {TUAW.com}

Jun 9th 2008 8:32PM That's cool, but totally useless for any real-world applications until it has MIDI support.
