Feb 14th 2012 11:40PM Lol!
I've totally dated most of these guys. The paladin is the worst.
Nov 15th 2011 12:20PM Can we talk about how little healing functionality seems to be present in the current iteration of druid talents? For example, almost every priest talent has some beneficial application to healing, excepting the movement tier of course, whereas only three or four total druid talents currently have some direct application to healing. Most of our talents so far seem to be devoted purely to utility, or to this dubious shape-shifting focus the developers seem to want to push us towards.
Nov 14th 2011 6:11PM How attractive is the letter writer? Maybe he could start working out a little more. Clearly he needs to do more to satisfy his partner because if she was getting it at home she wouldn't be looking for it elsewhere, certainly not from Grandpa.
Jun 16th 2011 2:39AM I have to disagree with you about the phasing bit. I really enjoyed seeing the environment change. I wish they had had more phasing, perhaps regrowing even the Twilight cultist areas once you kicked their asses.
May 20th 2011 3:46PM Honestly? People thought it said Anti-christ? Seriously?
People are much, much stupider than I thought.
It doesn't even sound the same, and if that's how you pronounced it in your head you need to go back to elementary school and learn to read again. It's Anthricyst... "thr" is not "t" and "cyst" does not equal "christ." Otherwise it would be called Cystmass, the yearly festival celebrating cysts of all kinds...
May 4th 2010 7:28PM I didn't say goblins came from trolls, I'm saying there is as much reason and evidence for that as for elves coming from trolls, or trolls coming from tauren.
May 4th 2010 6:17PM I always thought the constellation sculptures in Ulduar were depictions of the native races of Azeroth, which is why gnomes and dwarves aren't pictured. I think humans were just thrown in because, or the story about humans being descendants of Vyrkul was added as an afterthought, perhaps.
Anyway, I don't really think trolls evolving into elves is backed up anymore than goblins = ancient midget trolls, or what have you. Long, pointy ears seems to be a trait common to native Azerothian races, so that can't really be used as evidence.
Besides which, night elves have five digits on each hand, as opposed to three, and no tusks. If anything, trolls and tauren are more likely to be related, as they both have the two fingers thing going on, as well as tusks/horns. Oh, and trolls are actually covered in a layer of very fine fur. That's not well known, but is said somewhere in one of the sources.
The nature of their religions is also fundamentally different. Aside from the obvious, that being that Elune is a moon goddess not found mentioned by any trolls, Troll deities are actually manifest in the world. Elune is not. She is explicitly stated to be non-corporeal and to not interfere in the world directly, aside from whatever powers she grants her followers.
Apr 11th 2010 7:40PM I think you're kind of paranoid. You are so seemingly concerned with anything remotely similar to warlock mechanics being the end of the world that you aren't really giving constructive or instructive commentary, but just QQing endlessly about how horrible everything will be without giving an equivalent optimistic analysis.
I feel if this is what wow.com was going for they could have just copy pasted some QQ threads from the forums into column format.
Apr 9th 2010 6:48PM I would make an emergency priest heal that could be used when you're low on mana, say with a cooldown of a few minutes, and would act as a kind of lifetap you can cast on someone else. Call it the Martyr's Prayer.
