Blizzard wants your feedback on the new Pet defensive {WoW}

Nov 7th 2008 8:10PM Personally i like it, but i also like the old defensive mechanic for certain situations. So my question is, does anyone really use aggressive? I know i never do. When you are in dungeons or raids you never do, and if you are questing and your pet runs off and kills something b4 you get a chance to attack it, you cant loot it. IMO aggressive should be changed to how defensive works now, and defensive should be changed back to the old defensive.

Recruit-a-Friend levels fizzle in Patch 3.0.2 {WoW}

Oct 19th 2008 9:59PM wow, you guys complaining about 5-6 lost levels need to stop. My friend lost about 100 levels from his sisters account that she had leveled 4 59's. He was going to have a lvl 60 or higher of every class on our server.

Defensive pets a little more jumpy {WoW}

Oct 17th 2008 2:38PM Hunter pets are really buggy for me at least. Sometimes they dont show up after dismounting, they dont get rezed in bg's, and when i turn off an auto cast spell like Growl, ill check later and it will be on autocast again

When is it fair for classes to share? {WoW}

Oct 7th 2008 9:10PM I meant to say can't actually use LOS and objects

When is it fair for classes to share? {WoW}

Oct 7th 2008 9:03PM You see and that is the difference, it would in fact severely limit hunters options if they choose to use stealth. Hunters would have to use cats that can prowl, or dismiss their pet and resummon it when popping out of stealth. So it wouldn't be as OP as ppl think and it would really go along lorewise imo as far as a hunter hunting its prey, staying hidden, since we can actually use LOS and objects to hide from prey or enemies in WoW, we should have some other mechanic. Stealth falls in line perfectly with that, even if it isnt as powerful as a rogue's stealth.

Oct 7th 2008 8:10PM Ok first of all, all you hunters who say MD is a nice little bonus during a raid and only use it twice in a raid are missing the whole point of your class. Hunters are pull bots, they should be used as such. Misdirection is a core ability that should have been around long before the level you get it. You should be using MD minimum 4 times in Kara just during Nightbane alone. I find it hard to believe you are in a group with 8 ppl besides you who never agro during the ground phase switch during Nightbane. IE - a single hunter can mean the difference between a wipe and a kill.

Second, I am not going to argue that stealth isnt a core ability of rogues, but its only really really useful in pvp where MD cannot be used. The only thing a rogue can do in stealth that raids use it for is sapping. They have some moves that get a damage bonus if they use it from stealth, but a rogue is a dps class, AND IT DOES 0 DAMAGE IN STEALTH. A rogue can go a whole raid dpsing and never enter stealth, it will still do high dps, just losing some of the attack damage bonus by not attacking from stealth. Thus stealth is a pve utility. You can also argue that by a hunter using MD it ups its damage my not having to throttle back dps by out threating the tank.

Third, to the guy who said "when they give rogues feign death", they already have it, it's called vanish, as in removing threat from themselves, which is exactly what FD does. So where is the line now, if hunters had a stealth aspect, even if it was weaker than rogues, they would essentially be the same class, just 1 ranged and 1 melee, and 1 had traps and the other 1 counters traps. So I ask you blizz, where is your line.
