Feb 2nd 2011 2:16PM I moved to Scotland three years ago and played WoW for about two of them. You would be able to play, but your latency would significantly increased, so much so that you'd have to actively adapt your play-style. Time zones would also a factor as you'll basically be around six hours ahead of all your guildmates and such.
Oh, and then there's the fact that it can get you banned. When you agree to the ToS, you agree that you will only access your account in either America or the Oceanic region. If any GM were to notice your IP is currently from Europe, you could be banned for it.
Jan 30th 2011 4:13PM I think it's important to point out specifically that in terms of rotation priority, always try and use your first five CPs on Rip, THEN use SR with your next bundle of CPs. It's easy to get stuck in the Wrath mindset that SR must be kept up at all times, but getting Rip onto your target is much more important now.
Also, Glyph of Faerie Fire is garbage for cats. Like, really bad. Glyph of Rake is at least moderately useful on trash pulls and while soloing.
Jan 28th 2011 11:51AM Exactly what ziggler said. Twinks existed to grief non-twinks in BGs. People always vehemently denied this and always said it was to fight other twinks, but when the time came that twinks could ONLY fight twinks, the practice basically vanished.
Man I hate twinks.
Jan 28th 2011 11:49AM So, I'm playing WoW, right? Chillin, raidin, what have you. But whenever I raid, when we have a big fight like a trash pull and I'm on my priest, standing in the back, when I walk up to the group when the fight is over and everything is dead, I suddenly hear all the sounds of the fight happening really fast, even though no one is fighting. I hear yells, clashes of weapons, spells hitting, mobs roaring or whatever, the works. Anyone know what this is? Is it a technical issue with my computer or something with WoW? And either way, does anyone know how to fix it?
Jan 25th 2011 11:26AM Everyone knows the Star Trek movies' quality is based on their number. All the even ones are good while all the odd ones are terrible.
Jan 23rd 2011 7:23PM Eh, I think you're right in a sense, but there's definitely a difference. You're right in saying that most people who make Mary Sues probably godmod on those characters a well, as most Mary Sues will more than likely be godmodding when the time comes. But not all godmodders are Sues. A character can be flawed, interesting, and deep but still "kill everything" when they run into combat or "have a strange resistance to damage" when hit.
It's definitely important for people to know the deference between the two.
Jan 19th 2011 2:17PM In other news, I totally agree with "Mind Blast should be stronger than Mind Spike". YES, it should. It should have ALWAYS been that way. Right now my Mind Blast hits for less than my Mind Spike when Mind Spike does its LOWER end damage. MB, really, is only hit for the replenishment...
Jan 19th 2011 2:11PM From the new PTR build
"Mind Sear damage has been reduced by 30%. Now deals [ 104 to 113 ], down from [ 146 to 158 ]."
Jan 14th 2011 6:25PM For Hordies looking for something similar or for Alliance who feel like dual-weilding frying pans, go to Western Plaguelands and pick yourself up one of these bad boys.
