The Daily Quest: Patch 3.2 Madness {WoW}

Jun 26th 2009 12:04AM I agree with talkingmike. Don't waste your time at Runeforge Gossip. Nothing but QQ there.

And please, - don't link every crap blogpost that drops into your lap.

Wintergrasp quests undergoing significant changes {WoW}

May 12th 2009 12:06AM @Emma

Nah, the only thing that's busted is they should make it so that real players have a way to boot people like you out.

Or put a huge 2-hr "LEECH" tag over your head.

Guildwatch: Cleared for good {WoW}

How about you just skip over that section if it pisses you so much.

And take your elitist attitude elsewhere. =)

Give Bloodlust to Rogues {WoW}

May 5th 2009 11:41PM What a stupid reason to buff a class with an ability.

If you think rogues deserve to have bloodlust because they're "one of the least played classes right now", as of today, both rogues as well as warlocks have the lowest representation at 7%. So why not buff both classes? As well as the class that drops to the bottom next month? Or why not save some time and give it to all classes, which is what will hapeen eventually anyway?

Officers' Quarters: Disposable raiders {WoW}

May 4th 2009 11:51PM @Wez

I disagree. Dropping PUGs for guildees will not encourage more people to join the guild, it will discourage PUGs from joining the guild's raid.

After all, if the raid being run is puggable, why should PUGs join that guild's run and risk being dropped if they can always pug another run?

In the long run, this will only harm that guild's ability to run 25 mans due to manpower shortage, assuming that guild is pugging because they don't have enough people in the first place.

Hotfixes for Conflagration and Ulduar {WoW}

Apr 15th 2009 11:28PM Good lord, are mages still buttsore over that being 'underpowered for years' crap ?

Curse, WoW Interface band together to block WoWMatrix {WoW}

Apr 15th 2009 11:02PM @Furiursa

1. The items are all unnumbered.

2. Item no. 8 does not mention hosting addons.

3. Wowmatrix says :

"Q. From what sources does WowMatrix download WoW AddOns?

A. WowMatrix checks for and downloads each WoW AddOn directly from that AddOn's official website, or from one of the major WoW AddOn websites if that AddOn doesn't have an official website.

Please note that we do not host any WoW AddOns (other than those as requested by their authors, or those released with free distribution rights) ..."

And of course, there is no mention of how authors can request for this service on their site at all. A genuine option? I think not.

4. Furiursa is either a plant or very gullible. I'm leaning to the latter.

The drama of DKP {WoW}

Mar 18th 2009 11:12PM @damanius

I once thought the same way you did. Thankfully, I stuck on with my guild, talked to the leads and things were sorted out.

About rolling against the noobs- thing is, every noob who gets his gear is one less competitor for the same gear. And improves his contribution to the raid, thereby increasing your chances overall to get that gear.

About friends - sad to say, your actions show that you value purples over friendship. Else why the gquit? Do you honestly think that depriving the raid of a valuable? member, cutting off your friends etc is worth not "creating an issue"?

I disagree with your decision, but wish you the best.

The drama of DKP {WoW}

Mar 18th 2009 10:52PM @bundee

And how do you ensure that your "good DPS" shows up? By rewarding attendance ABOVE perceived superior performance, i.e. people who raid more have a better chance to get good loot regardless of how they perform.

I'd say your guild's system is working as intended.

Blood Pact: Warlock's guide to gearing for Naxx {WoW}

Feb 24th 2009 12:21AM Give him a break guys, its a good article =)

For an affliction lock who is willing to grind a bit, my personal choices would be -

Head - Forgotten Shadow Hood from Salramm in Heroic Stratholme for pure spelldamage goodness and the meta gem slot.

If hit is an issue, (+44 hit! has meta slot!) purchaseable for 40 wintergrasp marks is the best pre-naxx epic headgear you can get.

I would disagree with the Badge of Heroism purchase priorities tho. For me Ward of the Violet Citadel and Sundial of the Exiled should come first, in that order for an amazing jump in DPS. Both items are also hard to replace and you will be using them well into Naxx.

On the other hand, is comparable to (and some would say inferior) to which drops off Ymiron in Heroic Utgarde Pinnacle.
