The Guild Counsel: Guild life in SWTOR {Massively}

Dec 28th 2011 6:24PM I joined a guild (Server: Karthol Rift, Guild: Vae Victus) in the pre-release and it was between 10 and 20 people. It was set up to have fun and the guild motto is No Drama :) 10 days later we're at 191 member lol! The only drama we've had so far was one guy complaining about another guildie talking about slicing a lot. He left soon afterwards.

As for VOIP / in game conversations (yes I have subtitles on), I either take off my headset (VOIP through headset, game through speakers), or just escape out of the quest chat and start it again.

N-Space 'down, but definitely not out,' announces layoffs {Joystiq}

Oct 11th 2010 2:58PM You guys should have seen the prototypes of Geist (running on a PS2 IIRC) back in 2000/1. The n-Space guys talked at one of UCF's student ACM meetings. Great bunch of guys.

Big money, no Whammies! Press Your Luck coming to PSN {Joystiq}

Aug 24th 2010 2:13AM Totally awesome. Too bad the original had a bug where the "random" blinking was in a very predictable order.

More trademark registrations indicate Syndicate return {Joystiq}

Aug 4th 2010 8:24PM @Ben79 Agreed! Syndicate rocked back in the day. If they kept it 3/4, it could easily be seen on XBLA, PSN, Steam, etc. Shadowrun back on NES / Sega Genesis rocked. The FPS that came out a while back was ok, but just not that fun.

Help save (another) arcade with Stride's $25,000 competition {Joystiq}

Apr 22nd 2010 12:05AM Rocky's Replay rocks. It's right between a Hooters and a roller skating rink.

Swag Sunday: Assassin's Creed 2 (PC) [update] {Joystiq}

Mar 22nd 2010 2:27AM Ditto Steam +1.

Simple, easy to use, connects you with friends, and save games are in the cloud (micro transactions just announced).

I can choose what PC(s) my games are on, and the publisher is confident my private identity is the one playing it on x # of PCs and not pirating their stuff.

Blizzard announces upcoming premium AH through Armory feature {WoW}

Feb 2nd 2010 11:01PM You'd still login via the website or app, so everything's still trackable. It's just a different access point.
