Nov 8th 2010 5:42AM Look up "ad hominem." You'll be a better person for it.
Nov 8th 2010 4:37AM this is awful. If they either a) took away the raid markers on NPCs, or b) worse share the markers, it'll make these useless. We can't have a square on a NPC running around and a square bobbing up and down on the side. People will see the placed one while fighting and think something spawned and get all confused as heck.
These either need no marks, or custom marks.
Aug 12th 2010 6:38PM Welcome to Gizmodo level journalism, Engadget. You're not helping people hack their iSpots to play Ole Susannah or some other such thing, you're helping people break the contract they have with Clear. Oh sure, you put a little warning across the screen shot, like that makes it all better.
Aug 12th 2010 6:05PM "Some folks have had success by rolling back to the XP versions of their network drivers, so if you give it a shot, let us know how it goes"
How about not encouraging people to hack around a company's product and either use it as you agreed to, or pay more as their service requires, or *don't use it at all*
Infuriating that people can't accept an agreement without trying to screw a company trying to a) make money and b) offer some people a better deal just because c) you don't like it the way it is
Jul 18th 2010 2:52PM " I think this will slow down the existing fast paced feel of discipline and instead create an even "burstier" style to discipline's single-target healing since Penance's cooldown will probably remain intact."
Well if BRC is any indication, I'm pressing Flash Heal even more often due to all of the trash dmg, and using Greater Heal with Borrowed Time is the only option while in combat. Otherwise it is just too slow and some poor warlock dies.
I'm also using renew as disc in 5 mans a lot more, to keep those clothies somewhere above dead while I attend to the tank.
Jun 10th 2010 4:06PM I use Grid to give me a nice, small view of a 25 man raid. Use a couple of grid addons so I can see 4 dots per corner, so I can track my shield, weakened soul, blessed healing, renew, inspiration, grace, etc on any player.
I use another addon that gives a third line of text which I use for debuffs, like Mark of the Fallen Champion or Infest.
Then I just mouse over the person and press a button. For all of my 10 *must have* casts, they are on non-modifiers, so I can be *very* mobile. Sometimes, say the trash boss before Dreamwalker, I'll target the NPC tank and heal him by mousing over my target's placard. Shield, greater heal, renew, etc. it's fun.
The beauty of mouse over macros is that they work on any frame that targets something. Party windows, default raid UI, healbot frames, grid frames, X-Perl, you name it. They don't require an addon to setup and manage.
The only downside is that WoW's limitation on the number of macros a toon can have is too derned small.
Jun 10th 2010 4:00PM As a disc priest, I have 17 macros mapped to my naga, and use them all while being able to move with my left hand on WASD QE.
The Naga really made playing WoW fun for me, and with Cata I'll have even more to cast.
Jun 10th 2010 3:58PM I believe you can also use a simpler:
/cast [target=mouseover,help] [help,nodead]  Lifebloom;
Feb 3rd 2010 3:11PM We've been in there since week one; Stuck on Putricide and Blood Council. Mainly movement issues.
Dec 30th 2009 12:20PM Dumb logic. Just because you can do it doesn't make it not an exploit. Look up the definition of exploit, you're taking advantage of a weakness in their coding.
