Dec 22nd 2009 1:34PM I would love to enter!
Oct 21st 2009 6:14PM Coming from an ex-druid tank my biggest problems were a combination of what you said up here...
1 - We had a pally and DK as our maintank and off tank, pretty much all non-set pieces were theirs because they had little competition on the actual tank gear. The rogues also needing the leather I needed to tank would bump up the costs and make it more expensive for me to purchase the gear I needed to tank, (this depends on your looting system)
2 - Being third tank in line, I never got to see much action and when I did it was doing something incredibly boring such as arena on thorim. At which point all I had to do was repeatadly hit my B and E keys over and over for Swipe and Maul and I could practically sleep at my keyboard.
3 - Gearing is annoying. At the time, my best tanking relic/libram for druids (forgot the name) was on vezax. The second best was from badge rewards from BC content.
Now I am a pally Tank/Healer. I was heal/ret but nobody wanted to take me as ret when i can heal. I have been a tank for about 3 weeks now and my tank set has already surpassed my holy set and I am having a blast. Tanking on a paladin requires more than 3 buttons.

You have CC, use it. Every class has some way to CC mobs long enough to mine for a brief second.
Paladin - Hoj/Repent
Priest - Scream
Shaman - Earthbind, Hex, Stoneclaw
Warrior - Shout/Concussion
Mage - Poly/Nova
Hunter - Trap/Pet
Lock - Fear/Pet
DK - Pet
Druid - Root/Cyclone
Rogue - Blind/Sap/Gouge
You can land, Blind 1 enemy, gouge another, and get that mine before they both are un-cc'd and get our mine, then you can vanish.
Nov 18th 2008 1:42PM Yeah, since it only takes a raid 1 clear to get your entire guild geared.

You also have to realize, 25thnovember spent months in the WotlK beta working and plannning so they could be first to do this stuff. They didnt just wake up at 12:00AM release day and go, hey, lets beat Wotlk and get all the world firsts!
It was ridiculously easy to get into the wotlk beta and they were all in their devising plans to reach the appropriate level and then do those raids they had practiced.
When SWP came out, how long would it have taken to down kil'jaeden if the raid had been accessible right away. It would have probably taken that guild the better part of a week maybe two. Then you also gotta keep in mind they wouldnt have had months to practice the content on beta realms.

Sorry to disappoint you bro, but if your main problem is you have limited hours to play per week to the point of missing today means you cant login for the next few days, then Im afraid you need to find yourself a new game.
Its the maintenance patch before Xpac, I could have told you that servers would be down most of the day before they even went down this morning. I had hoped they would be backup by the time I got off work (4 hours after time they should have gone up) but oh well.
The biggest disclaimer written on the box, game experience may change during online play. If things such as outages/bugs/downtime are something that you have a major issue with to the point of QQing about recieving a free month of play, then you need to quit wow and join a baseball team or bowling team to minimize your risk of being unable to play, because a computer game is simply not for you.
Honestly, if the servers need to be taken down for an extra few hours to ensure the majority of my play time the rest of the month goes smooth, go for it. I would rather not be playing now, then logging in waiting for my mail, sitting around as server gets restarted every hour while they implement hotfixes to see if it fixes the mailing bug etc.
Find something else to go occupy your time. A video game is not for a person like you.
Aug 27th 2008 6:29PM Really? I never knew that, back when I had that horrible job I substituted in Electronics all the time, is it a new policy? I even remember we did those substitutions seperate from the other substitutions in the morning.
Looks like its store number T-1374 about (90% positive)
79 Commerce Way
Seekonk, MA 02771-5816
Give them a call and ask if they have World of Warcraft Battle Chest in stock and ask what their substituting when they say no, then when they tell you they are substituting that, get incredibly excited and tell them to hold one your on your way!
Have fun calling and harassing them!
Aug 15th 2008 2:14PM I would stick with the someone named the pizza something else, then they used a thesaraus and come up with the words ornate and blunderbuss as opposed to what the were going to use instead of an obscure wow refernce. Their are so many other things from world of warcraft that could be used instead, I just think the person who brought this to attention is a hardcore wow fan who saw that and immediatly thought of random piece of gray vendor trash X and nothing else.
Aug 15th 2008 2:06PM Most likely it was someone looking to name a pizza but went to a thesaurus to find alternate words
an action or way of doing something regarded as lacking in subtlety and precision
ie. they pile the pepperoni all over the pizza
you can find that in the oxford pocket dictionary of current english.
