Paper, Scissors, Stone registered by LucasArts and BioWare in Australia {Joystiq}

Which makes no sense at all. EA has servers in Australia. Warhammer Online had Aussie servers.

And if you were actually a tester, you would know that "match colors with chest piece" was disable for a reason. Like other features like AA are disable.

Obsidian Entertainment is developing for a 'leading animation franchise' {Joystiq}

Oct 29th 2011 7:52PM If they wanted people to play their game, they wouldn't let Obsidian no where near the title.

Blizzard's Metzen: Pandaren are as 'serious as a heart attack' {Massively}

Oct 25th 2011 4:44PM I think the PR should be on the "Pokemon mini-game" For years Blizzard keeps on telling us they have limited resources, so they cant do this or this or this that people want (like Transmodification or whatever) but they can commit resources to make a pokemon style game within WoW.

The Daily Grind: Will Pandaren lure you back to WoW? {Massively}

Oct 24th 2011 9:09AM No. For several reasons.

I believe Blizzard had their chance to do great things with World of Warcraft and because there was no real competition, they slacked off. Now maybe with some competition coming out in the next 2 months, they are struggling to entice players to come back or stay.

Star Wars: The Old Republic accidentally taunts potential testers [Updated] {Massively}

Part of the problem with updating the community about the emails. Some idiot on Twitter said to SR that the links in the email was malware. So instead of saying "we had a glitch" They had to investigate the links (which all went to swtor for the preorder email and ea.com for the survey) and then say what they did.

Then again we stress test swtor.com for them. So we all know now when the game launches and everyone is trying to put in the retail code, the site is going to crash.

Warhammer Online: Three years later {Massively}

Sep 19th 2011 5:54AM Part of the problem was not getting rid of people that made bad decisions in WAR. Carrie and Paul are part of the WAR Arena, Hickman went to SWTOR.

You take people that are terrible and help ruin a game like WAR and move them to other projects, you doom those to fail as well.

Only thing Mythic did well with WAR launch was that had Aussie located servers for the Aussies, etc. Bioware cant even do that for their initial launched.

Aug 31st 2011 8:55AM "If the players had been able to clear past the giant defense droid, I would have been disappointed in the difficulty of the raid."

Well they picked 6 people from the crowd who had to learn what abilities do what in relative short time, 2 BW staff members including Cory, who was trying his best to wipe the group. I believe they did incredible well considering BW wanting them to wipe to hype up the crowd in the Theater.

Since you are so in love with Gabe, you would know Normal modes are the casual players, he has said it so many times since Gamescom.

Hyperspace Beacon: Post-launch {Massively}

Aug 9th 2011 3:29PM Sorry I really do not see the point of power leveling at launch. There is only one operation. There is so much in TOR people care about than just Operations. I understand that you need to get to the max level for Massively, Gamebreaker, etc.

But to me as a reader of your column and avid watcher of "The Republic" I want to see diversity of TOR and not all focus on Operations. Because if the community gets so focus on Operations then BW focus on that and leave other aspects of the game in the wind.

EVE Online press conference answers vital questions, page 3 {Massively}

Jul 6th 2011 1:15PM You would think after both CCP and CSM statements and the video. CCP would just shut up already. I do like reading Brendan's work, but more and more I read something from CSM and CCP they just make the situation deeper and deeper.

This is what makes this situation worse.

"Will there be items more expensive than the monocle added to the store?"

Arnar: I fully expect so, at some point, definitely.

A vanity store shouldn't charge you more than a house mortgage payment would be ever.
