Aug 27th 2011 10:29AM I left WoW 4 months ago when I moved to USA from EU area and after realising I really cannot raid due the time difference.

I would like to play again and I gave Transmog good consideration and I like the idea lot (been many times thinking that kinda feature in the past).

Problem is that it's not sufficient to get old gear (which poses it's own problems) but you need also get some good up-to-date gear to latch old models into.

WotLK was great in that sense that you it was possible to get decent gear even if you were not raiding but Blizz didn't like the idea of players gettin stuff so easily since that pissed off honeybutt raiders who think good gear can only come through raiding.
That made it really cumbersome to gear alts in Cata, change that most propably is big factor pushing players away from the game.

There are different views about this but let's be honest, if one doesn't raid there is not many meaningfull things to do with single char in Cata

In Golden Hour of WoW (late WotLK I say) there was literally something for everybody and since then the game has been going downhill all the time in contentwise but also playerwise (down from 12M in Q1 to 11M in Q2 subscripers).

Maybe WoW will be someday worth to play again althou I'm not resubscribing just yet.. game is still too broken.

Apr 29th 2011 8:23PM One way they could improve Guild perk system would be to make "Guild Experience" tied to chars that bring the experience along the way.
That would guarantee that players who have invested time to get guild level would get the benefit of hard work after leaving the guild. In this situation guild would also lose the exp player takes with him.

That would make Guild leadership to regocnize each players input and also make easier to start a fresh guild.

After all it's not guild in a sense that has been leveling it but each players.

I really resent Blizz standing in this if it is truely so that they are not reacting to Guild leaders wrong doings.
It's like some big companys CEO would get away after screwing workers.
It just doesn't happen in real world.

I'd say it's more like people has seen how futile it's fight against Blizz on bad decisions, it's just not worth the time or the effort. You could say also that one can get used to constant beating too and stop complaining loudly but doesn't mean that one still accepts it.

I too cancelled my account and one factor was indeed current playerbase.
Matters were even worse than with average player since I only played during latenight hours and every rudeness you can think of was repeated tenfold during those times. No fun.

Stella, I too keep on eye on matters of the game that I played for years.. nothing wrong in that.

Breakfast Topic: How would you change Cataclysm? {WoW}

Apr 16th 2011 3:09PM Much needed improvements are:
1. Shorter dungeons!
I love the game but I don't have 2h undisturbed game time almost never.
Make few bosses (with fewer trash) and keep the difficulty even same so that time-constricted players are able to enjoy game too.
Leveling alt is not solution. I have now 4th alt goint to 85 and it's starting to be mind-numbingly boring.

2. Archeology survey device more precise.
It is just plain stupid that device cannot point always exactly towards fragment. When it's made like current cone thing it's just helluva annoying (for 600th time and counting) and not exiting treasure finding as they might have mentioned it to be.
Also when it's blings green it should make fragment already visible (reasoning same as above).

3. Bring my EPICS back!!!!
I love gearing my alts, since there isn't anything else I have in end game so at least make the gearing more fullfilling experience and start making those shinies available again.
4.1. will bring 2 dungeons with epics but quess what... you still need to do that annoying blue grind before.

4. More caster wands.
Shit.. bring loads of them while you are at it.
There is only 3!!! 346lvl wands before raiding and since my lock has to use crappy 318 it will lower my ILvl so much (even after graftable epics and have almost every other slot with 346lvl) that stupid PuG leaders won't take me into group after I tell my ILvL.

There is more but I'm out of rant-juice, thanks for your time :)

Apr 13th 2011 11:08AM I've, as so many others, stopped using LFD and I'm not even tank but DPS.
I got sick'n'tired of bad behavior and rudeness toward other players in these PuGs.

Problem even multiplies when I play from different timezone so that I log on during nighttime. One cannot simply believe how badly players behave nowadays.
It's like these people are totally something evil brewing and not anymore persons at all.

ONLY right solution to this is to limit LFD to realms so that accountability becomes one of the favorite stats of players again.

If Blizzard doesn't do this and do it fast it's very clear that they are not seriously looking to solve this issue at all.

Apr 8th 2011 4:13PM Seems that all the tanks and healers defending this solution suffer some kind of lack of logical reasoning.

It's NOT about reward and how it goes to tank/healer, no.
It's about that will-come huge FLOOD of noob tanks and healers rollin who just do it for reward.
This WILL result more FAIL dungeon and/or tank/healer leaving mid dungeon resulting yet another queue (or abandoned dungeon run) for similar noob tank/healer next in a line.
So even if initial wait time is shorter, total time to complete any given dungeon will be longer.

Also tank/healer shortage is not all inherited by these classes being more despised (still they are for sure) but from the fact that players have several chars and usually this goes that only 1 char is tank/healer and rest are DPS making total number in favor for DPS chars.

Essentially it doesn't affect how much incentives is given to tanks/healers since there will ALWAYS be relatively more DPS that before mentioned chars.

Heck, tanks and healers already have very much reward in instant queues, why on earth Blizz throws more milk in their classes???
Blizz should reward DPS for waiting patiently in queue to get into dungeon in first place not to mention N00b tank or healer who usually leaves after first wipe resulting yet another 1/2h wait.

Once again Blizz demonstrates it's massive ability to recognize problem and failing to provide cure into right end :( my butt hurts already enough!)
