Oct 14th 2008 9:01PM Yeah, if it was actually like a pally bubble, it would be nice. But we aren't taking no damage, just reduced. It's doubtful we could even start a bandage considering we can just be re-cc'd ... and if we could pull it off? instant interrupt. we're still being hit.
I honestly don't know why the idea of a self silencing damage reduction skill is so good to the devs. If we're still taking damages, debuffs, and all that stuff - what better position are we at? It makes it more likely for a heal to get off on us in time in Arenas but ... is that worth being our 51 pointer? 6 seconds of a better chance of a heal in time, every 3 minutes?

Aug 26th 2008 9:20PM Burning Legion Burgundy? :D
Aug 12th 2008 4:31PM Alright, Lolferal auditions, "I can haz gnomeburger" scene, take 5 .... and ACTION!
Aug 9th 2008 11:43AM Wow. Stab me in the face again, Blizzard. I guess they assume that with all the "spellpower" changes, shadowpriests won't mind changing specs after their own spec is humiliated.
I hope that they have grander plans for spriests than they have shown so far ...
Aug 8th 2008 3:34AM I can understand why they'd not want retroactive recruitment - it could dilute the purpose of the promotion.
But, to deny the benefits to people whose invited friends are still on the 10 day trial or the 1st game month? Sheesh! If anything, it would make sure that these players not only join, but STAY and continue to give them 15 USD a month.
I think if people haven't paid the 2 months yet required for, say, the mount bonus, that they should at the very least give the mount if these accounts do pay. Missing out on incentives to these specific new recruits/recruiters is just limiting the number of players they could retain.
Aug 4th 2008 4:25AM Honestly, I think dispersion will be rather useful. I don't think anybody will disagree with that.
The problem is, as it has been stated before in the article, is that it's our 51 shadow talent. Compared to other classes and specs, it makes speccing deep shadow a little underwhelming. I mean, holy gets a spell that can prevent the death of a player, and shadow's spell just regenerates us a bit and prevents us from dying (at the cost of not being able to do anything) for 6 seconds.
It's a cool skill and all, I just don't know if its worthy of being the deep shadow skill instead of lower in the tree, or just a trainable skill.
Jul 27th 2008 6:22PM G-FW, my Summer is being spent anticipating your arrival. The booby traps are laid, the cookies and milk have got an "extra" ingredient - we're just waiting for you to come down our barbed wire laced chimney!
You thought I forgot about the "IOU" present last year, huh? Well, this year IOU ... a proper greeting. :D
