May 1st 2009 9:37AM amen. Talk about overreacting...both on the part of Blizzard and on the part of the posters who are on the Karatechop-is-the-antichrist list. I mean honestly, Blizzard's mistake almost borders on entrapment.
Both parties are at fault here, Blizzard and Karate. The least Blizzard could do is man up and say "hey, we messed up here also, let's just restore everything to how it was a few days ago and call it even."
May 1st 2009 9:29AM As much as I agree that what Karatechop did in the end was wrong, I don't think the actions taken were appropriate for the offense. Give the guy a short ban, rollback his account to what it was prior to the incident, he's learned his lesson.
Self righteous zealots like Saintstryfe equate his actions to reverse-engineering the game or writing bot software or farming gold or, apparently RL homicide (I can see how using an item, that hurt no one in the game, is like giving someone a rifle IRL and having them shoot people...suuure...that makes sense).
Feb 6th 2009 10:30AM Sure it does, if you select the individual guild and then select its achievements, you'll see all the major achievements possible for that instance (i.e. Sarth 1/2/3D)
Feb 6th 2009 9:50AM Wowjutsu is pretty slow, and probably the least accurate and timely of the sites. Guildprogress (wow.guildprogress.com) is probably my favorite of the lot, and fastest to update.
Jan 9th 2009 11:05AM 10:1 is fine. Even if this was/will be true I see no problem with 10:1 since those items are significantly better than the ones from the heroic vendor, they are rewards for the work and time invested and I think they're proportional to that.
Any less and then you'd be having half of your server running around all topped out in valor gear in no time, and that's no fun.
Jan 9th 2009 9:33AM Hold on...hmm..I checked the calendar, it's not April 1st...but the link to the post on mmo-champion says it's a 1:1 EoV:EoH trade.
Nov 12th 2008 5:57PM Would be even better if they gave east coasters who couldn't attend blizzcon some blizzcon bear mounts since they've been neglecting the northeast in general so much >
Nov 12th 2008 3:49PM I saw people on line at the NYC store this morning as early as 8:30...If they are the first two, they've been there since way before 3PM.
Nov 12th 2008 2:39PM There already is a meetup set up for the NYC launch -> http://warcraft.meetup.com/118
Nov 12th 2008 2:24PM I haven't heard anything about the NYC event being cancelled, I passed by there at 8:30 this morning and the media crews were wheeling in gear and there were people already camped out there.
